What would I do ?


1. Organise a presentation - update shareholders on progress in all aspects of the business - confidence level and how the pipeline is progressing
2. With cash in hand buy back some shares, or updated news of divi

If I owned or managed a business that was worth £150m one week and below £100m the next I would be concerned what my investor / shareholders were thinking - oil and gas and commodity businesses are different - they can die one day and fly the next on a puff of smoke - but a steady business with steady business growth and profit - shouldn't be so fluctual (if that's a word)

The management staying quiet about the company's value reduction, doesn't bode well or offer any support to the share price - they seem to shout out loud when it's rising but quiet as the share price slips back day after day - this is where positive comments from the team would help stability until the next leg up.

Director of Business Development 'Director' in this instance is an ego title - make the individual feel good about life in general and when a sales person feels good - they sell confidently - they hunt for the bones, but have no idea about the bigger picture or anything more than selling be it technical selling !
