C37 is not soviet well it was drilled in 2008.

The soviet well was drilled to 4014 meters and c37 in 2008 was only drilled to 3987 meters. Granted the rock maybe different but it makes it interesting.

I believe they commenced last week only matter of days for update on upper creataceous.

looking at some well data of c37,

- Top of Upper Eocene 3,510 meters
- Top of Middle Eocene 3,935 meters
- Top of productive zone 3,925 meters

Now c22 produced from range 3,902-4,014 metres, c37 productive zone started 23m deeper than c22 and also it went all the way down to 4014 meters. Why didnt Socar did past 4014 meter in well c37? We also know c37 is only 200m away from c22, this 30 meters to 60 meters of drillinging will be interesting..

For flow test maybe but before then we will know if further oil has been encountered in the middle eocene and u cretaceous. Thats when fun begins, AC has stated they will inform us on progress.

Next week will indeed be interesting he did say he will keep us informed throughout drilling campaign.

You do recall they shutdown large number of wells which were not economical.

How do you know they failed, they rns that c21 production went to 50bopd and c26 went to 70bopd after they perforated new zones in them..

The interview before he said within 3 weeks they will have results.

I think he is being conservative with recent interview, good rig can drill over 50meters a day.

If they manage to increase 50bopd-100 in middle eocene at c37 it will be successful, they can test u cretaceous. Even if that is duster the well will still be successful.

Aj whatever hapoens we will increase production just like c-21 and c-26 which were not producing oil before we perforated new zones.

In past in these fields wells have been drilled at a rate of 50meters a day, even if zen take it slow at 20meters a day they would be past the first target ( middle eocene) by sunday.

Interesting next week, oils shows and we are in business.

Exactly, bloe is doing well but zen is producing 270bopd and 2p reserves are over 31mmbls. Zens mkt cap is almost 4 times less than bloe.

Hopefully current c37 well will get mkt caps closer..

In Muradkhanli field they have largely produced in upper cretaceous, geology looks similar.

This is why im really excited about c37 drill.

Similarly, the lithology of the Upper Cretaceous sediment in the Jafali field is similar to that found in the Muradkhanli field. The Eocene sediments, as well as the carbonate and effusive formations found in the Jafarli field, hold prospects for significant quantities of recoverable oil.
