The sanction are clearly working on 144m population of Russia, when we have put em in the corner they may react with their own sanctions, gas and oil stopped, What then divest and then be poodles of USA.

Alot can go pear shaped here, world need to talk about ceasefire rather than name calling. I never heard one leader call an US president or UK prime minister an war criminal at the time of conflict.

alot of unknowns, whether western oil companies will still divest after the ceasefire, whether other companies will still boycott russia, whether sanctions will come off straight away after ceaefire.
