@ Bonkers Very true old friend but whilst I’m on this journey to that promised land I am going to try and enjoy the ride good or bad!!
It is always the case any excuse to drop this down they will. They expect you to lose patience the same games were played last year when closed before it jumped to £1.24. But I love playing patience so I’m gonna chill and pop to cinema tonight to see Suicide Squad.
The results will be what they are. I have been to my local Cine four times over the last month and have been very surprised with the amount of people. My opinion is this can’t be kept down for long regardless of results. Money coming in is a major plus movies to watch saying that Dune looks amazing . Patience is key with this share just enjoy the ride if you can.
Just got back from a 18:10 screening of the Forever Purge with my daughter in tow. I was very surprised with the amount of people in the showing mostly teenagers and couples. Air conditioned Theatre just what I need on a hot day like today.
I may of had a tipple lol aww what the hell i always have a tipple!
Pleased with the increase but not pleased with the butchering we have had recently. Let’s see where we are next week to see if sentiment has changed with our beloved share !
Hey Bonkers hope all is well buddy well put all us on the LTH Cine rollercoaster with biscuits in hand .
I would second that !
So EddieKnowsBest you have come on the group to ruffle feathers and cast doubt. We all make our own choices and mine is to add you to what i know best the filter bin.
PW. Don't we all lol I was 9 years old when I saw Grease. This share is being tested at present us LTH knew this was going to be one hell of a ride its not a share for the weak stay strong I have faith and shut out the negativity. We place our money and make our choices good or bad. I will be holding until this share is in a place where it belongs. Skinny Leggings she was stitched into them i believe.
Mine was Grease and it still holds up today . I remember the queues went down the street what a amazing experience. Cinema dead yeah right !
Sorry this is what the article says if you cant open it
"Black Widow" shot up the piracy charts after debuting on Disney+ over the weekend for an extra fee.
Warner Bros.' movies that premiered on HBO Max this year, like "Mortal Kombat," have also faced piracy.
Analyst Rich Greenfield called piracy the "'dark' side of leveraging technology to distribute content."

Disney announced this week that "Black Widow" earned $60 million from Disney+ purchases over its debut weekend, marking the first time that the company has announced figures for a Premier Access (PVOD) title.
But a consequence of being available online to stream is piracy.
After "Black Widow" premiered on Disney+ (for an additional $30 fee) and in theaters, it quickly became the No. 1 most pirated movie on the piracy-news website TorrentFreak's weekly list.
"That tends to happen when a pristine copy is conveniently made available online by the studio," entertainment journalist Matthew Belloni wrote in his Thursday newsletter "What I'm Hearing..."
Other streaming movies on the list included:
"The Tomorrow War" at No. 2 — only on Amazon Prime Video
"The Boss Baby: Family Business" at No. 5 — in theaters and on Pea****
"Cruella" at No. 7 — in theaters and on Disney+ Premier Access
"Luca" at No. 9 — in theaters and on Disney+ for no additional fee
LightShed Partners analyst Rich Greenfield tweeted on Thursday that piracy was "'dark' side of leveraging technology to distribute content."
As Belloni noted, Warner Bros.' movies this year have also faced piracy after premiering simultaneously in theaters and on
HBO Max
.

"Mortal Kombat" Warner Bros.
For instance, Warner Bros.' "Mortal Kombat" was the most "in-demand" movie in the piracy analytics company Muso's May piracy data. The movie had nearly 20 million unlicensed streams and downloads globally from its release on April 23 through the month of May. (2021 releases made up the top 10 most pirated movies of May, according to Muso.)
It's difficult to gauge the impact piracy has on a movie's streaming or box-office numbers. "Black Widow" opened with a pandemic-best $80 million at the domestic box office and has surpassed $200 million globally.
But it saw a drastic drop at the US box office after Friday, when it made nearly half of its first-weekend total, meaning it was uncharacteristically frontloaded.
Strong openings alone won't save the theatrical industry. Movies will need to have strong legs to drive the box office, according to Exhibitor Relations analyst Jeff Bock. If piracy is eating into a movie's performance, it could mean an even harder recovery for theaters.
"The key for the theatrical industry going forward is sustainability," Bock said.
Everyone invested here I believe knows how undervalued this share is.March £1.24 then forced down when things were picking up for Cine. Where we are now is absolutely ridiculous. AMC totally different beast as they have the Reddit community and others falsely in my opinion pushing it up. We should be at least £1.80 now .I believe £4.00 is a tall ask but wouldn’t refuse it. But I seriously believe we will reach the £1.80 at some point it’s just a waiting game possibly next year. So in the interim it’s a game of patience and not panicking. I must add I am not a ramper and my views are my own. I am heavy invested in Cine and a unlimited holder and a lover of the Theatre,Movies and smell of popcorn .
I went to the Cinema to watch it with my daughter in no way was this a bad movie and no way deserves to drop off by that amount. Definitely they have shot themselves in the foot on this one. You have Jungle Cruise coming up same format I believe this is the last one to stream at the same time . The Rock always pulls in punters to his films . Possibly it will have the same drop off?
One word piracy has caused this drop as Mooky stated hopefully Disneys little experiment wont be repeated and movies are shown where they belong on the Cinema.
So we lock down whilst deaths are at a low and cases are on the increase. I personally see no logic to lock down we need to open up and put our trust in the vaccination's. Everyone I know has had one including myself. 17 months of lockdowns i have had enough. Time to stop all the scaremongering and get on with our lives. The newspapers /News Channels never seem to put across the positives because that doesn't garner readers or viewers . Low Death is what is the most important full stop.
As I stated yesterday we have seen this pattern for the last 18 months. Good day so far but doesn’t take away how we have been butchered this week on no news. Anyway how can I pass up buying a few more thanks Cine the gift that keeps giving .
