Apart from the obvious lack of news, I truly believe that this has went down most because of the Christmas traders. People who threw their money in here wishing for the best Christmas ever but needed the money back to spend at Christmas and also see them through till they get back at the office chair next year. Being in the M&E game we used to save the copper up for the lads for the Christmas kitty, until we noticed that the scrap yards used to near half the price of copper because they know most lads save it up to weigh in. Stay put if you can I can't see this going up (much) till after crimbo, especially IF the MM's do have that sort of control.

Dick I hope you are not suggesting I wrote this. I think it's disgusting that we haven't had at least two RNSs (a week) since the placing AND offer. They've got £24m of ours and I want to know why we haven't been told what it's being spent on. I hope it's not one of those Christmas things lots of pub landlords (in managed houses) get up to. Take money off customers to save for them until Christmas and then run off with the money when it's due to be dished out so loads of people don't get to eat turkey or even go down the pub except to look for the bloke (who's on a beach in the West Indies.
