I'm keeping an eye on Novacyt as a possible investment when, if, I see price take a turn upwards.

Chart wise, novacyt will likely see further drops (not to say there won't be some short-term reprieve) but the SP has not reached the bottom. 280 is the first touch bottom, but may go to 250 or lower

I only briefly watched the video and like anything else on the internet, it is worth checking the background of the interviewee or informer. I try not to take what is said online at face value. My first query was - who is he, what is his background. Is any of what he says true or a liberal use of facts? Haven't had a chance to check though not even sure I am bothered too. It IS fox news!

Or cynical me suggests that this is another way the government hopes to achieve the elusive 'herd immunity', if you can't get there via vaccination alone...

Doc, when RM first said that I did also wonder why he would not just ‘get on with it’ and conduct an in-vitro study against the Delta variant. Initially I thought it was to save time and money, plus they don’t believe it to be necessary.

I’ve just realised that while this may be the case, I wonder if RM’s main reason is to encourage government agencies to initiate or to further dialogue.

“ Combined data from hospital and home cohorts totaling 221 patients in the Phase II SG016 trial (NCT04385095) showed 33 markedly or severely breathless patients treated with SNG001 were 3.41 times likelier to recover than placebo patients. Synairgen said the results reinforced confidence in its ongoing Phase III SG018 trial (NCT04732949) in hospitalized patients. The trial is expected to release data in the second half of 2021.

“Most people are going for early or very late treatment,” noted Richard Marsden, Synairgen’s CEO. “We’re kind of in the middle—with very strong effect sizes. We’re not interested in treating everybody in the home environment. What we want to do is find the breathless people at home, which is probably only about 10% of the non-hospitalized population.”

I would agree with you except I found, when googling SNG001, a Yahoo business link was quoting the MF article! This gives MF a somewhat authoritative platform that it doesn't deserve. However, it does mean that the MF article could have some undue influence over SP to the uninformed.
