One thing we can all say for certain, is that eurasia and so us shareholders, have an asset which has something which is massively in demand.
The world needs the commodity, china massively so, and that puts us in a extremely good position during negotiations.
We have the epcf contract already in place with sinosteel, so even if a deal somehow does not materialise, we'll be going into production anyway.

I'm not selling a share until it all plays out, it was my plan from the beginning and it is still my plan now. I may not even sell a share then, my first response will be to reassess where the company is at that point. If they have strong plans going forward, i may well increase my holding using part of any divis dished out.

I've always though that citic themselves could be a potential buyer. I just don't see norilsk letting anyone muscle in on their patch, more so with their expansion plans for palladium output and with their facilities already near to MT, it just wouldn't be good business sense to let them muscle in imho.

That doesn't mean that citic will not put a bid on the table though, which could in turn get us a higher price from norilsk.
All we can do is sit tight and see how it all plays out!.

The right assets in the near vicinity to alraedy in place company facilities, would be a good place to start looking for expansion options.

MT is the perfect asset for their expansion plans.

That is correct jayke. Low cost and very easy to extract, it's what also makes MT so attractive to a would be buyer with experience in the industry.

Norilsks expansion plans make the sale an almost dead cert, their facility in monchegorsk etc all makes the whole thing extremely likely.

But not only did palladium price rise massively, and the demand is to increase, they increased the original 2Moz figure to a now newly stated 15Moz.
Combined makes for substantial new valuations.

They were in JV with anglo platinum. Anglo sold them their stake in 2014. Eurasia then had to go it alone, they started with WK and managed to get a pilot plant producing at the back end of 2016 i think it was, from memory.
While taking that to production, they have simultaneously been sorting out MT. Got it to a stage where there was an EPC contract with sinosteel to take it to production, and received the mining license at the back end of last year. All fully funded. Oct we were due to draw down the first $50 million from the contract and start taking MT to production.

We may not be in production but we are uniquely fully funded to production, and as such we're in a very strong position in those sale negotiations. The other this is that it's a simple open pit mine, very low cost and very easy for a experienced player like norilsk.
