RNS releases pretty much say that a deal has been on the table since around sept, the bank RNS tells you that the banks will assess the deal and look to find a superior deal. Their fee relies on them getting that superior deal, the better the deal the more they get by the look of things -

The Banks have agreed to work on a success fee basis, so that their motivation is directly linked to a successful completion of an alternative asset transaction superior to those outlined in the announcement of 15 September 2019.

2 banks are going to get that superior deal on the table pretty quickly, they will of already had buyers lined up.
The latest addition of the ex norilsk manager, points to the deal almost being complete at that stage and he is now there to finalise a deal that will ultimately get put to us shareholders.

It's due to metal price near term future price forecasts, that the deal will be done A.S.A.P.
A fair offer now, at 1700-1800 current PD prices, is still an absolutely massive deal for a mining minnow like eurasia.
It makes financial sense that any buyer will get their proposed deals in as quickly as possible. as they will want to take advantage of the near term future market.
Eurasia could hold out and drag their heals a little, but is it really likely if a massive company making deal drops onto the table?

No time is of the essence with any potential buyer. They will want any deal concluded as quickly as possible, especially if it's norilsk, as the understand exactly where the metal prices are going.
The longer it goes on, the less potential future profit they can make.

I've been over everything more times than i care to remember jay, check, check, triple check etc, looking for holes and any massively evident possible negatives. There just aren't any. Like you say, a sale doesn't come, then it's short term pain until production.

Something was already on the table back then, they can't look to find something superior if it wasn't!.
We're now approaching a month since that RNS, a lot of progress will of been made!

Those warrants clear tomorrow, i wonder what the rest of the week will bring?.

Ref the RNS, i would expect one tomorrow after close of play, stating what was converted before the deadline.
