An example of a Chinese manufacturing arm, strangely enough they make batteries, they are the ones who are going to supply the Nissan plant in Sunderland. Scroll down to the map to see the highlighted geographical battery production areas -

That's just one example, most know how China has hundreds of companies who all require the battery metals that are contained at Monchegorsk.

The reason i chose the above example is because they're already a green company involved in Russia. See the relevant map here -

People always had to try and outbid the Chinese, i don't think they managed imho.

Rumour is, that in these type of situations China bid way over the top to secure what they need, they make their profit on the manufacturing side of products in house in China. They've been securing assets for years in that manner, out bidding all others fair and square.

My money is on them being the highest bidder here, Sinosteel will construct and a mutually beneficial relationship will be made with NN. This is just my opinion however, we'll see exactly what's happened when the deal details finally arrive for us to look at.

Interesting alternative view. You do understand that Europe has been reliant on Russian gas for absolute years though, right? And, well, they will be reliant on Russian energy sources pretty much forever, there is no work around to that situation as Russia hold a vast amount of resources that the whole of Europe depend upon.

No invasion will happen, they don't need to invade at this stage, they only have to look after their civvies to look lie the good guys.

The other thing to remember, Russia is at its own borders, UK, US and other European forces are not in their own borders. UK and US troops have just left Ukraine apparently after training and arming troops there.

All this rock solid intelligence of an imminent invasion has been put out repeatedly as well, no invasion happens, how will people feel about the rock solid intelligence info?

It's a political mess waiting to happen to anyone who cares to look. But, i guess, some could see a more united Europe as some form of a little victory in amongst everything else, who knows.

I don't see any invasion happening, no matter how many times it is stated, or, how much flame fanning hysteria is attached to it all. That's just my opinion.

Think about what Russia has said the whole time, we're not going to invade, we don't want war, it is the U.S trying to bait us into a war. All they have to do is stick by what they've said, look after those civilians and they will appear as the ones telling the truth the entire time.

They're too intelligent to get roped into a full scale war, even with Ukraine, it won't happen. But, they will ensure that their people are secure and in doing so it is another blow to Western politics.

Honestly Jonmo91, all Russia has to do at this stage is allow those civilians save passage and refuge into Russia and do nothing more. They will have achieved the aim of securing its supporting population there and the West will look politically bad to the rest of the World.

Think about how it will look, Russia raised the concern about the population there, the West ignored it and pressed on with full support to Ukraine without once considering the other populations that reside in the country, it's a political mess. War has been chanted the entire time, if Russia does not invade and simply looks after the civvy population they have won.

Money is already raised, next round aims at Asian investors for the H4Energy JV. It's all in Rns.

The simple fact of the matter is that Russia will not invade, it has no reason to launch a full scale invasion. Even with fighting in the East they only have grounds to move there to secure the population in a defensive manner. If civvies leave and end up secure in Russia it all simply makes the West look quite bad tbh. The reason is because they only appear to want security for one side, the other side has been disregarded the entire time, almost like they don't exist or have the same human rights.

I think they're all clever enough over there to figure out what is going on tbh. The war drum has been hammered from day one by one side.

If Putin leaves forces at near border to help with civvy evacuations and never invades, he has won. He can use the same reason the US is using for troops in Poland, that they're there in case any conflict of skirmish spills over into Russia and are there to help with civvy evacuations.

Appears to be a lot of explosives magically starting to be used in Ukraine, the gas pipeline target is a huge give away tbh.
