Drop makes no sense taking opportunity for top up - market worrying about increasing profits in seems...probably should have gone up 8% not down

Economic downturn / market crash will be bad for all but will actually benefit BME in shortish/ medium term (if not immediately on share price as only those in cash will win there)

....BME should gain market share as customers move from the likes of M&S/ Waitrose to cheaper alternative of B&M....B&M also has advantage of being a one stop shop in many stores i.e, get your groceries/ diy stuff / toys for the kids all in same place....absolutely love the place :) :)

Problem with Poundland is it's difficult to find anything for a Pound these days....need to rename £10 land....also they compete with the absolute rubbish coming out of Temu....so not sure the market has a need for them anymore......not a competitor of B&M....could be a big benefit as can potentially get the store space on the cheap in areas they are looking to expand to (if stores are big enough)

Yep topping up as this is at the bottom, just such a harsh overblown drop....

Company still making good revenues & still a solid profit

- 13MM profit would be 18% return on current market Cap

- add back the 20MM bridge remediation provision & estimate profits at 33MM which would be 45% return on current market cap

This is a solid company.......these are only going one way now & that is up Up & UP.......totally oversold....results were down but this reaction is ridiculous!!!!!

.....The 20MM on the bridge remediation was baked in the NOV24 announcement & is in the numbers already...potentially they can claw some of this back off Insurance & subcontractors who stuffed up so may be not that much....

Yep.....Now price is bargain of the year.....Nov24 interim results I reviewed after drop & believed this was all factored in or so I thought - market dropped 38% end of Nov accounting for Bridge remediation (20MM) & expected revenue/ profit reductions

This drop of further 40% was in my opinion already factored in so does appear to be a major market over-reaction...did not buy in Nov but ALL in now.......expect this to bounce back significantly over the next week.

13% dividend on current price (if they maintain at same level)....even if dropped a bit still a bonus

So you are betting this up/ down...not based on any fundamentals...ok fair enough that's your game....hope you don't get caught out on your shorts ...not for everyone that's for sure

At this price a strong buy...pure market sentiment driving price down based on nothing concrete.....all indicators point to this now being massively undervalued.

Lower interest rates/ UK government push for renewable energy driving the National grid upgrade will all push the price back up to a more fair valuation

Of course company is buying back shares - they want to get share buybacks done at cheap price then once done back to business...share buy backs currently cheaper than paying off debt.

Agreed some director support would put a positive spin on the shares....thanks for outlining risk below .I will review thoroughly over weekend to see if I have missed anything but currently in datacentre cloud space I only see upside and unlike many tech companies around as everyone has noted they are making money ......just not quite as much as the markets obviously expected....not yet at least. Th next set of results will send this either flying or down further for another top-up ....just at these levels i see much greater upside opportunity

The datacentre business is a total cash cow especially an established business such as this one.....big business/ banks (markets business) throwing money at cloud business to run applications as it is far more efficient to increase/ decrease usage/ software based on consumer usage than hold in own datacenters/ servers - shared infrastructure is the way forward & only going to grow exponentially as all business moves to this same model

This is now looking cheap...getting in now as in my opinion this is the turning point...don't like bottom fishing but in this case they do make a good profit, if interest rates can keep coming down will make this even better value

At this stage wouldn't worry about any of your investments....cash out/ buy in the countryside/ build an underground sustainable bunker......you will need latest solar/ hydrogen/ wind power tech to keep it going.........very tongue in cheek but massively worried about the road american psychopaths are taking us all down (reform uk are bending over in front of them)........hopefully all bluster and talk and reality of looking after the world we live in takes a little higher priority.

It appears that shorts have been closed and share price is finally moving in right direction. Still based on 2024 profits share is valued at well over 500 so a way to go up in my opinion......is anyone able to confirm shorts are closed? ... if so I am going to top up investment
