The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
If anyone wants a bit of a cautious view, then let me put it this way... I've just broken even for the first time, since June 22nd 2018.
I am very much not complaining, but the no news increase is making me very nervous and I honestly didn't think I would see that money again lol
Sigh. We've come this far right? I think I'll stick around for results and pray to the oily gods that DW got one right.
I'm .05 from breaking even, after a 4 year ride.
Very tempted, but this seemingly random rise has also captured my attention again.
The random folk coming out with 3 word posts however, make me want to go back and hide in my 88e bunker.
Ddraig, as far as I can tell, you're the one trolling.
There are amateur investors here, as well as experienced, why do you have to be so suspicious of an honest looking post? People are allowed to get drill names wrong. Sheesh.
If it helps at all, I've had mine issued and I use the LSE trading / Jarvis.
Cheers
So is anyone going to take the 4.5p offer and if you don't, what do you see as being the next step?
Aren't you all a barrel of laughs today?
Sound like people who have done no research to me. Letting your moods effect you and your attitude towards 88e. Maybe take a break from the board and staring at the price constantly, get in some sunshine and come back a bit happier.
The oil is still there, the information needed for a farm out partner has been ascertained and you're talking like the company is doomed. It's an exploration company, not a get rich quick scheme.
Yall need some patience!
I'm interested to hear peoples thoughts on this too.
My average is 2p, so lost half of everything in this. Still don't understand the sharpness of the fall though - we've aquired more acreage, involved in further explorations and are looking for a farm in partner. Yet here we are, in the same place as when we shut the well for the winter.
Aim is a funny thing.
What an excellent addition to the board. Thank you.
Never underestimate the power that this company has to produce an RNS that no one likes. I can think of four in living memory that went down like a lead balloon, that if were worded differently or not released at all, would have worked the other way. Still, I'm a patient man and while a badly worded RNS can hit the price, the results are what will matter in the long run. GLA
Said like someone that's never had to do accounts! Multi million pound company, trying to juggle loans and large payments, not to mention every day business. Seems perfectly normal to me.
Same, but if they get the sale, I'd be interesting in holding for a while to see what happens. No idea on the HD Suspension, but my shares no longer show a value within my portfolio - says unable to acquire price, so might have just worked it's way through the system I suppose.
Sorry mate, nothing. I've been scouring the internet and gotten no where. Patience game I suppose!
Until the fat lady sings. Still a chance that this will come through the other side with a sale, suspension is sensible to prevent panic selling. If you invested in this company, you knew the risks. Nothing to say that a sale wouldn't bring the reward though! P.S - Good post BJ, real informative.
