George Frangeskides, Exec-Chair at Alba Mineral Resources, discusses grades at the Clogau Gold Mine. Watch the full video here.
Strange that the 100k seller is getting such a good price , raises the question ... is there a background buyer?
Thanks for the pointer Nicks , looks a complex deal as they bought 80% and gold was about $500 less so 6x current mcap may not be unrealistic . Fingers crossed that the gold and met coal meet expectations , current sp low risk .
Bit of a bummer and unlucky really with the gold quantity turning out to be 6X more than expected, current mcap £23 million , should the sp be 6X more than current?
Won't let me link to it but look at their ~ASX announcement in October
Interesting looking at them as Nagambie have recently done a toll treatment jv on 50/50 terms https://www.lse.co.uk/ShareChat.asp?ShareTicker=ECR&share=ECR-Minerals&thread=D6C73A08-209F-490E-9E23-EBED6E789F38
Yep , he mentioned that nagambie mining make a good living from it plus the gold , their bailieston property is on the Nagambie road so can't be too far distant from them https://www.nagambieresources.com.au/ .
That said I think the Scoulers reef area seems mostly gold and looks as if it may come to fruition ....June 6th https://www.branduk.net/ecr-minerals-plc-ecr-high-gold-and-antimony-results-from-soil-sampling-victoria-australia/ takes a while to prove things up but hopefully now they have homed in (looks like it on the map) and next step after current drilling will be proving the resource on paper.
Well, they intend to drill D , I hope dilational jogs are voids that have been filled with gold veins
"Anomaly C
Earlier this year (June 2020), the first soil results were released and revealed a spot anomaly of 3.75 g/t Au. This earlier best result is located at the north-east end of the trail of Anomaly C (refer to figure 1). With the additional results now received, the source of this trail can be traced back to the Scoulers Reef. There are the remains of a backfilled shallow historic shaft at the source area that by judgement of the size of the remnant mullock dump, appears to be less than 4 metres deep. There is potential to drill underneath the historic shaft.
Anomaly D
Anomaly D is located at the north end of the Scoulers Reef line. The Reef dips into deeper soils to the north as it approaches a local watercourse. As with Anomaly C, there are limited shallow historic workings at this location. Some of the highest results have been obtained in ground that has no influence from the historic workings, thereby indicating the possibility of shallow sub-cropping mineralisation. ECR has current drill permits to test this location, and it is our intention to drill Anomaly D as part of the current drilling campaign."
Dilational jogs , there are some strange names in geological formations :) why would you look at that map and not think "There is a palpable sense of excitement among our team of geologists as interpretation of the extensive exploration work achieved this year is now slowly revealing the area mineralisation and considerable potential for development."
Looks like a mine candidate doesn't it?
Why did Scrooge score a goal?
Because the ghost of Christmas passed .
What you got? :)
It is probably my most unfavourite joint broker dominating the book still , I hope when they have nothing left to sell the ECR bod give them the order of the boot quick smart.
The only positive in that is that the more they sell the less they have and stock must be very depleted currently, when it is gone the sp will rise.
What bod r33k, tell us more what they have done ?
Anyway , if anyone wants to look on google earth to home in on it here is the general area https://earthresources.vic.gov.au/licensing-approvals/location-of-licences/licences-near-me#lat=-36.75229051196426&lng=145.0582478458341 Nagambie / Rushworth Road and Cherry Tree Road and their property must be close by "purchased a property at 127 Nagambie-Rushworth Road, subject only to payment of the completion monies. The property is located within the Company’s 100% owned Bailieston license area (“Bailieston”). https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/ECR/property-purchase-within-in-the-bailieston-license-area-stjtkcr4rqyepo8.html
Hence the reason for the purchase of the property and the ability to put a decline in there. Jigsaw!!
It was Pippi , maybe when they saw that people just weren't getting it on the first one they perhaps thought that it needed clearer explanation .
It is four reefs that they are in amongst , Dan Genders , Scoulers , Maori and Hard up ..... strange gap between Dan Genders and Scoulers which I guess is the down dip that the first drill report was talking about but if you look at the area as a whole and their colour keyed information there from the soil samples coupled with anomalies A-D and the old Byron mine not too far distant . https://twitter.com/ecrminerals/status/1474004658498719748
With the right drilling results and it may require some at depth, surely it is a mine candidate .... then there is Blue Moon !
Fingers crossed the new drill is close to delivery and then it is game on .
Get the warrant seller out of the way or whatever they are and sp will improve and the prospects of a JV will too.
I can see why they are excited .
Don't be daft , how the hell is he going to sell all of those shares without trashing the sp ? That amount requires a significantly higher sp to start offloading.
UK , lives in Cornwall and his mother gets told she is rich bitty .
and shows how it takes time to put the jigsaw together, Craig insisted it was a goer .

: “These are the first results generated by our new drilling rig, and to our knowledge they are also the first diamond drilling results ever obtained from the HR3 area. The extra geological insight afforded by diamond drilling will be of great use in vectoring further work, and this is an advantage which previous explorers have not had.
As is to be expected with early-stage exploration drilling, not all holes reported today have intersected significant gold mineralisation, but we are very encouraged by the fact that BH3DD001 returned two high-grade intercepts, including one of 0.5 metres at 19 g/t gold, and all holes have provided data which will feed into our evolving geological model for the area. Drilling is continuing and we look forward to reporting the next round of results.
We remain as excited as ever about the potential of the Bailieston gold project, which is located around 30 kilometres from the Fosterville gold mine owned by Kirkland Lake Gold and which includes the Blue Moon gold discovery confirmed by high-grade results from previous drilling by ECR.”
HIGHLIGHTS:
Five diamond drillholes across the Historic Reserve #3 (HR3) area covering the Byron and Maori reef lines have been completed for a total of 1082m. Drilling at Byron shows west dipping sediments whereas drilling at Maori intersected all east (and south-east) dipping beds, indicating the possibility of anticline-related gold mineralisation between the two reefs.
Drilling of BH3DD006 is currently in progress to test a hypothesised anticline that may exist in the vicinity of the Dan Genders-Scoulers line of workings. Historic shallow gold workings may be small reefs linking and coalescing to a much larger fault related anticline system at depth.
A lot of time has been spent on it and it is very clear , well done to whoever produced it a it makes sense with the RNS , thank you https://twitter.com/ecrminerals/status/1474004658498719748/photo/1
Left field bitty , always love those as it catches traders out , not a big problem here as they have a chance to buy back before it rises but it does arrest the apparent manipulation of the share price (not a reference to you Trek ) which could be the broker I don't like ;)
No historic workings on BC and D (or very limited) so the soil samples are not contaminated by previous worked ground hence their rush to bang in some drilling in that area , C1p ...... said it was a hotspot but people ain't seeing it .... yet!
I am not very good with the christmassy stuff but very happy to raise a glass to Craig , he had a plan and it will play out , just takes a little time but he did a lot to push it forward this year regardless of how the sp is currently performing lol
Cheers Craig !
