Thanks Henners , they do have a new plant to pay for which has an impact . I don't know what they cost now but the money comes out of the business, however it will start on payback as soon as they have it optimised .
Always best to post your evidence for that , from what I can see they are gaining traction throughout , maybe your are referring re-negotiation of the leases , but securing more brine will more than cover that.
It's a good company throwing off production and cash , doing the best its ever done with a 20% upgrade when the new plant is on line in early summer , what do you expect! ;-)
But do wonder if Ploen has finished selling all of his , not enough volume to clear them maybe?

Must admit I was hopeful when they got Chrystal Capital on board but seems to have lost any momentum it may have had. This was June 2022, needs to be some ass kicking as well to gee them up !

I think Ploen sold to put money into the next Baller enterprise , selling fraccing sand to the oilies . If you check out Jeffs name on companies house you will see that he has already taken an interest in it.
Don't understand why Tom has not insisted on the 'loan' being paid back 1 million (dollars or pounds .. I have forgotten? ).
That said , the company is earning plenty , selling what they produce but still needs to get into another gear to promote the company otherwise it will be eyed over by predators who will dive in , keep the best bit and asset strip what they don't want. It's a chemical company and should be doing really well on the growth side , full integration helps with the iodine , poor support from the UK but if it was US company it would have been flying much higher and better supported this past couple of years.
Look like rollovers to me , if you look at the time stamps and price it is usually an indication. Add in a little mm manipulation to fill an order or two .
Problem is that Berenberg have their other arm as mm's and of course they don't communicate on shares as that would be a conflict of interests .... ahem cough cough cough. I bloody hate what they do , everyone knows what they do but nobody can do anything about it without evidence and even then they would still get away with it.
It would be pure guesswork as to why https://money.stackexchange.com/questions/55576/why-do-i-see-multiple-trades-of-very-small-quantities bot trading? Only the people initiating it know the reason.
Now the engineered drop (probably over a few months) by the mm's has filled Mitons boots I expect it will re-rate here unless there is another buyer in the queue.
Fortunately the likes of Miton will give iofina more pr than those actually paid to promote the company , wonder when SQM will buy some shares ?
There will be an interview but when you have calmed down why don't you request a telephone conversation with Tom and ask those questions ?
Yes , Lance Baller should pay that money back and Tom has made it obvious that it irks him too .
Looks like someone desperate to get out which is usually the best time to buy.
Selling been going on for a while and do wonder if it's Jeff or Lance pulling out money for the new venture or maybe Banksy still playing games in a vindictive way .
There will come a point when the selling ends and iof moves up towards 50p as it progresses .
Looks a good update to me ,breaking ground at io10 and io11 in the planning stage " sales of a key product mainly used in the semiconductor industry improved significantly in the second half of the year after a slower-than-anticipated first half."
"Encouraging progress has also been made regarding construction plans for IO#10 plant, with groundwork at the site scheduled to commence this week. The Company expects IO#10 iodine production to commence in Q3 2024 and will update on progress as appropriate.
Negotiations continue to progress well with both current and potential new brine supply partners for IO#11, and the Company continues to explore options in its current core area and other new areas for our next iodine production facilities.
In terms of new products, Iofina Chemical will be adding to its iodine derivatives product range in H1 2024, including an existing product in the market for which there is strong demand. The Company also expects to increase sales of its crystalline iodine to customers in Europe in 2024 through existing and new relationships."
I'm not going to post all of the positives up here they are in the RNS .
You should know by now that everything he does is in the interests of shareholders JohnHenry , he has said so many many times, he has no shame after the millions he has taken off shareholders. Let's hope he will be shamed into taking a large reduction , unlikely as he has little conscience (a narcissist without doubt) !
I can't see deals falling through without him there with Steve being the tech guy and Chris being the numbers man , he was removed or jumped tout suite and there is a reason for that , Diane Savory is probably a player in that too , doubt if they need him , he doesn't listen to anyone it seems.
At a guess Piltick , something went arai which meant the immediate removal of the ceo so the first was a basic statement i.e. he has resigned but I would guess it goes deeper than that .
An RNS needs the agreement of the Directors for any other information , todays was 'any other information' .
I have noticed that he put out a tweet in his name yesterday that everything he has done has been in the interests of shareholders in the past , that is a lie as selling shares was in his own interests.
He should do the honest thing now (in the interests of shareholders) and refuse any payment over the next 12 months and leave immediately which would be in the interests of shareholders and of course in his own interests as the sp would go up.
He won't do that though because he is a control freak and a narcissist .
I really feel for those the he has totally destroyed financially and have a sincere dislike for him and what he has done for shareholders .
Won't accept the link but if you cut and paste the sentence up to where the asterisks take over you will link to it , it is worth it for the laugh.
