The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
" a chain of abandoned mine workings extended north-south for about 8 km across undulating state forest, crown land, and private farms. There were small mullock heaps, shafts and open cuts. From the north,"
The DMS is 25 metres wide and runs for over seven kilometres through ECR’s tenements and is estimated to be 15 kilometres in total length, including adjacent tenements, and is open at depth.
ECR Minerals will now drill test the DMS to establish the gold endowment. Rock chip sampling is already underway.
“We are excited by this discovery of a potentially large gold system at Creswick which has been identified by our technical team, led by Dr Rodney Boucher, and is the outcome of many years of detailed study,” said chief executive Craig Brown.
Doesn't the DMS have a chain of abandoned mine workings , extending north south across undulating forest , crown land and private farms . with small mullock heaps , shafts and open cuts ?
And that is why Colin is invested I would assume , history rarely repeated but sometimes it rhymes eh?
When I first worked on the project, a chain of abandoned mine workings extended north-south for about 8 km across undulating state forest, crown land, and private farms. There were small mullock heaps, shafts and open cuts. From the north, these were named Robin’s Hill, Fosterville, Central North, Central Ellesmere, Harrington’s Hill, and Daley’s Hill. My friend David Wright had acquired the Fosterville property for his first tailings retreatment project, run by McNiece-Wright Mining, in the period 1982-1984. This was the first CIP plant in Victoria. He recovered about 3500 oz at an average grade of one gram per tonne and went on to establish several successful tailings projects in central Victoria under the banner of Bendigo Gold Associates, later Bendigo Gold Limited (BGL).
The Bendigo locals ask – how did the Canadians come to own our gold mine? The answer is that the Canadians recognized an under-valued asset and had the wherewithal to buy it. Our politicians now hold out Fosterville as the sort of mining project that they like and support. I suspect they have no concept of the thirty-five years of hard work and tears that made it possible. https://amcconsultants.com/experience/kirkland-lake-fosterville-gold-mine
I don't think on the whole that communication has been awful , more that peoples perception on the information they receive is awful.
They have struck gold in the shoots , at Blue Moon and on Scoulers Reef et al and although it has been said many times 'similar to Ballarat' people are not taking that on board .
Once they get the link up licence on the DMS it is a huge moment and all systems go , Baillieston is so close to being a resource with the infill done we will see!
Their communication has on the whole been great , just the Creswick assays not reported on and the progress on the new drill delivery .
Can place some of the blame on Alan Green for not asking the direct questions in the interview and sometimes not giving Adam the chance to answer the question that he has put to him i.e. 'do you think it will be a mine' and then interrupting him and changing the subject .
There are many many companies that give nothing on updates for months and months , ecr is not one of those .
Carl is just the frontman steven , there are 4 in the team and all will be involved . Good that they have tested the water with the Chinese and they will have learned a lot by it which in turn has spurred them on to change tack slightly as they didn't like the deal being offered.
If you look at the original plan then nothing has changed except to be fair the Chinese gave advice on how to get in and mine the met coal without pulling out all of the thermal as well which has saved them big money and a headache on what to do with the spoil (thermal) , just that little bit of advice has improved projected profit by a good sum.
Expect to see some information on the gold project soon , similarly they will be looking to extract maximum value from any possible deal on that too.
Trek has a spreadsheet on that one , he is in Oz at the moment checking out the DMS (little does Norvast (Colin) know) and leaning against a sign because it's quite warm ,https://twitter.com/ColinSt30481392/status/1477200405020897280
Depends whether the auditors have managed to get in there with all of the restrictions in Victoria . Up until September 2021 which is when the results will go to there is a general update on cash situation as in the post where they bought the bungalow.
First sentence was a wind up Trek and second one about the other guy :) got to poke you with a sharp stick to see what you are up to , didn't think it was you for one second . You will get what I do one day :-)
Don't know how you keep track on all of those but understand that if you have loadsamoney you gotta spread it around (like bitty) to keep the risk real .
I am genuinely sad that the guy who got a new avatar is on a big loss but was hoping they wouldn't sell as it is probably at the bottom (surely Colin can't afford to average down any more!) . Trouble is with shares that moving around can lose you even more money , traders have a point !
Iqai was the pumpers favourite at one time , haven't noticed anyone talking about it recently but did notice DARK has a following , I do like the name as it conjures up secret service stuff and who knows ...... it may be !
I hope next year is a better year for everyone it has been a bad one for a lot of people and one to forget hopefully.
"The purchase price of the property is A$887,500, has been settled in full. The purchase has been funded by the Company’s existing cash resources. As at the close of business on 17 September 2021 the Group had £3,400,000 (USD equivalent $4,650,000) in the bank after paying the full settlement for the property."
What the warrants have contributed to the company I have no idea, expenses were running at $75 k / month (call it £60k)
He sold them Armani , think he is having an angry day, never nice when you feel that let down by a share and yes the placing with Novum was a crap one (think I have mentioned that before) but at least it has been used for the most part on value enhancing properties and equipment.

I think it's Trek trying to get a cheaper entry point on his trade ;), got no balls opening another account just to post eh?
Are you trolling lol.
Zebbo shouldn't give advice as someone just sold their entire holding at a huge discount ;)

6907 took 2.5 years from application accepted to the licence being granted (painfully slow) https://earthresources.vic.gov.au/licensing-approvals/location-of-licences/licences-near-me#lat=-37.526868765216584&lng=143.97561960188708
but for ECR it was a critical one with the DMS taking it down to Nerrina and substantially increased the value of anything on the DMS line that the company has 6713 has been in for around 9 months , hopefully Victoria gov promise that they will speed up processing applications are true to their word .
Mercator (ECR) will get it as they are the only applicant but that will substantially increase the value of the company as the DMS starts to give up its secrets .
He who shouts loudest gets the most ECR , keep niggling about that licence to fill in the gap which is natural progression on the development from the new property in the north decline (probable) right down to the periphery of Nerrina .
Always difficult to give them a value , the clue was when Craig gave the Queensland ones a value once granted ( 50k to gain them and worth 2mill (ish) to sell once granted , although that is not the intention it gets the point across.
Apparently Victoria has been in a 'land grab' situation for some time so the value of the bought properties are increasing in value as time moves on , Adam did mention that in one of his interviews .
Anyway getting to the point , the Bailieston and Creswick tenements that have been granted or ownership continues become more valuable with each drillling programme (so long as they find some gold ) , it takes some time for the Victorian government to grant licences it seems (a year or two is not unusual) , so if someone wants to buy into a prospect it takes time and they can never be sure that they will be able to anyway.
Difficult to value the tenements but if you start looking at the reasons why companies will want to JV , it is probably because of all of the time and uncertainties involved in licence applications and then the time taken to survey the land et al.
Bearing that in mind there is always risk for the JV partner and they will want to mitigate that by partnering in as cheaply as possible , however , when you spend time to think about it the right time to JV would be before a resource is proven as the cost goes up at that point .
People knocking the fact that the gold is in shoots are not listening , that is what the Ballarat mine was founded on and has done very well in the past (although the current owners seem to be getting the paperwork wrong somewhere) . The point is that anyone looking for a JV knows the score and it will be in their interests to get in on a short cut solution which ECR has become .
When the 'new' CEO comes on board expect the pace to warm up quite quickly on the JV side.
It will make a big difference bitty , contact details are very poor , have you had any communication with the company?
Once the new drill arrives , I hope they have acquired the permission on their Creswick property, it should be put to use very quickly , got to be near delivery now hasn't it ? Could do with some information there too!
I don't think we are being used as mushrooms kjk , they just need to get up to speed in this interim period prior to a ceo taking up the reins , biggest disappointment is that Trevor hasn't stepped up to the plate in any apparent way , chair has stepped up a little but Adam has moved into a position that he appears uncomfortable with at times but that is only about polishing his 'performance' .
Adam just needs to market what is there from a geological perspective i.e. the explanation on the shoots of the value of 100mtr x 100mtr x 1 mtr equalling X tonnes of rock containing X$ of gold (probability) and adding it all up for us . Of course they will do that for us in the resource calculations for Bailieston first (fairly confident about that one).
Creswick Adam is worried about hitting the gold shoots in the right place , more so because it is nuggety which means (probably) more holes , they know there is quartz on the Creswick property and an old mine tunnel that goes 100 mtrs (I think) into the hill so there is gold there.
Being a Director brings greater responsibility to perform and different pressures as Adam is beginning to find out , it should be the making of him once he realises Craig wanted him to do well.
You check it at the end of the day messi , needs to be later on in the evening as it has a lot of shares to update. Keep using it and you will see the patterns develop and understand them better. Bright red signals are tin hat time and bright green are niiiice. :-)
Can't see anything wrong with what he says Charlie , only pointing out the obvious isn't he?

Ones gonna be a lot higher than £25m market cap particularly if it's peers are £120m
Great time to be interested in metallurgical coal given the Chinese's position in Zim.

People do not ask enough questions of the company , you lot own it and they should keep you up to date , be proactive , there are things they can't answer (and if not they should say so) but plenty that they can and should, send a message or like others tweets don't let them think you are happy being kept in the dark .
