That is strange and slightly concerning that he would buy so few at this bargain basement price; I have significantly more shares than that and I'm not rich. Regardless I still can't see why we should be concerned about what I consider to be such a good investment opportunity (now at a cheap price).
I hope if Labour get in they'll do better regarding support. Anyway, I am continuing to buy slowly as it goes down; on a basic level I like the recent acquisition in Ireland (after backing out in Spain I am glad ORIT replaced this with something productive) and I believe clean energy has a bright future, but what do I know?
Kevin, yes it's a pity. The government could have done much more to minimise risks and put us on a sustainable footing (such as ventilation through air purifiers in enclosed spaces such as school classrooms). I don't want to get too political though.
I am very disappointed too, Doc, thankfully I didn't overinvest in this as I knew it was risky, but I was hoping for much better. I really hope things work out for us in the end, but you are quite right that this is now a long term hold for me and many others I suspect.
It's not quite over or mutated into a cold (that's the benefit of effective vaccines and prior immunity), certainly it is still a big problem in the large number of countries with low vaccination rates and it will continue to mutate rapidly as a result into who knows what form. However, on SNG I feel similarly disappointed to you.
This is not surprising as the vaccines are not 100% effective although the severity of the disease you will get will be less if you are one of the unlucky ones.
Still this is vanishingly rare and won't be a problem once the majority have had the vaccine and it has hopefully conferred herd immunity.
