They have been able to go back to normality and have for a while in New Zealand's case (no masks or social distancing required, only strict control of their borders and a great test, trace and isolate system). The US and UK are the ones who have taken a more laissez-faire approach and utterly failed.

No, we still need treatments and they are hugely important. There is a lot of blind optimism around the announced vaccines. There is still a long way to go before everyone is vaccinated unfortunately and even then there is a very significant group who are unwilling to take them, which could easily be big enough to prevent herd immunity. Anti-vaxxer sentiment is mainstream and an unfortunate scourge in our modern society.

This was just ridiculous today, I managed to sell some at 137p and 128p and get in again at 110p when it seemed to be recovering but still took a heavy loss. Synairgen still has huge value and I'm hoping for a buy out, also a vaccine that needs to be stored at -80C although very welcome has huge logistical challenges.

Exactly, Motley Fool know they can move the share price for their own benefit. I am always suspicious of these types of articles for that reason.

It's a US stock on the NASDAQ specialising in computer hardware such as CPUs and GPUs that has a lot of potential to grow due to recovering from a very low base in 2015 and they are currently going from strength to strength, I wish I had got in when the share price was $1.67 but I got in much later. Still, I am up almost 50% (accounting for currency fluctuations) from an average of $27 to the current share price of $39.88 and all the major analysts have been upping their forecasts. I'm so disappointed, if a counter offer comes will it really be significantly higher? Also, if we vote this down then what? I want the board to be fired immediately as I can't trust them to make anything of the assets so voting the offer down by itself is not enough when we are being suffocated by such incompetence. I am debating whether to pack it in next week and move on.
