The rights to buy shares are €4.85 not pounds, so its costing you about £4.34 per share (based on the exchange rate today). If the share price holds up that's a good instant win. The shares are supposed to be being issued today across most of the index, however i am seeing no sign of mine. BNC expects that the issue will dilute your holding by around 9.91% so a drop in the price of around this level could happen. Even then that is still a profit. Fingers crossed. Good Luck.

Couldn't agree more. IMIC just paid £1.20 valuing Afferro at £111.98m. IMIC now own Afferro yet are valued at £16.81m. Good point well made :-)

I think maybe concerns persist for the deal to go through.. This requires two thirds of the shareholders to vote yes, which is a fairly large percentage. Very large if you consider the fall in the share price over previous years. I've been in this share since the African Aura days (on and off at least). It is fair to say I hoped for a higher return and believe it worth more. I'm lucky that i've brought my average down to below the 80p point, so see this as a get out of jail free card. If others aren't in the same position I guess they may wish to hold out for more. Some of the brokers believe this to be worth a lot more than this offer. Time will tell.

I would have only considered taking the cash option of the previous offer (80p +20p loan) so as far as i'm concerned at least this is an improved offer (20p more). The IMIC shares don't appeal to me as I feel the risk has increased with the same potential reward. AFF was cash rich IMIC is a whole different ball game. Interested to hear others opinions on the matter.

Can't imagine that this deal wont get voted through.. so why the lack of share price movement? buy now get £1.24 in two years. Is that correct? Anybody got any insight as to what is going on?
