Having owned a pair of the R-400s all I can say is NO THANKS. They fall to bits. They sounded OK (ish) to me but not worth the money. From memory, that's what Amazon reviews concluded as well. I just wish I'd read the poor reviews before buying them. BTW, Bowers and Wilkins are reportedly the company that tested the CB-01's. I don't think anyone can say that they know nothing about sound.
