Ha ha Tino, I never thought of that! I had to laugh also at Max thinking I'm a techie. Not really to be honest Max but I do follow the VRS story carefully and pick up on uses like discussed. I would think that the graphene would be used in the composite mix when manufacturing new blades but coatings might be applied retrospectively to existing blades?? They may also be self healing if/when cracks form. Mind boggling stuff

Agreed Dogberry. However you missed out 2 other important benefits of using graphene for turbines. The blades can be heated by using graphene to conduct electricity so that they never ice up. De icing these things is a nightmare (sometimes requiring helicopters at great expense). You do not want chunks of ice being thrown from these when they are spinning. Or even when stationary for that matter. Also, lightning strikes are conducted much better to ground. I can't wait for the day that graphene windscreens are in cars. No more scraping in the mornings!
