With Primary Bid there is also a Transfer Fee. I t used to be £20 plus so I don't know what it is now. It can take up to 48 hours for that transfer to take effect and shares actually in a persons' trading account. This was a while ago so may have changed a bit but I don't think it will plummet Monday am as much as others believe. I might be wrong but that's my view. GLA

gkb47. As I stated I've been out a long time and things have changed. I was of a breed who had to deal with bricks, stones and sometimes molotov cocktails from Arthurs' men. I would have dealt with this differently. However I'm not there and I don't know what precisely is going on but have to assume they have good reason for it. The reason I did'nt go into detail on applying the law was because I have seen that the protestors have mobiles and if they were monitoring this site I did'nt want to assist them. One comment I read about just pulling him off the road to the verge. If as said he glued himself there the pC might be up for GBH. Would that solve the problem.
I've been retired 20 years but used to wear a funny hat and answer to the name Plod. I was involved in a lot of situations involving public protests or whatever PC title they now put on them. I agree withcomments that it appears as if they are doing nothing. However all that occurs is recorded on bodycams and can be used at sometime in the future as evidence of continual offending over a long period of time when a particular person is arrested. It is noticeable that there aren't many police officers there and there's more of the protesters. Are they all high on something. Would they all pile in if the one lying on the ground was being manhandled. Who was in the civvy vehicle. Press, Human Rights people. We don't know. How long would backup take to get there to help. We don't know.
I do know that those coppers would have one thing on their minds and that is deal with it as best they can without getting hurt or complained about and losing a job. It's not great but I hope it helps a little.

Anyone seen anything of their OO shares yet.
A milli Thanks for finding out about the real character. The question to pose would be.....Would a man of his character and determination to suceed take on a job in order to fail. Answer.... No he would not.
Keep your shares peeps
What nobody has mentioned so far but presumed the worst case scenario. Syms would have an intimate knowledge of what made those other companies falter and require liquidation. He would have the knowledge and contacts to assist in advance from others going down the same path. Perhaps ?
I hope it's not a million share buy one at a time
Its good a bit of info has come to light and everyones spirits have been raised.
RKB it's nice to know there's a few of us old gits around. My feelings re AIM and MPs are about the same although I think AIM is slightly less corrupt. With the Internet a whole load of more dubious trading ways appeared and wrecked the unfair system even more. Oh well I'll keep trying.
Tks for a reply. I'm old school and still think the price goes up with an obvious demand.
Perhaps I am naive but if there are twice the number of buys than sells and it is taking almost a trading day to fulfill a buy then why are we 8 percent down. This is a genuine question.
I have seen numerous posts on here concerning information we may or may not have been informed of in relation to our current position.
What we must take into account is that FRR does still have an adviser - they being Mourant the legal firm acting on the companys' behalf.
I have had lots of experience regarding the ways that information is and isn't allowed to be given at all stages of a case. This, I must add, is re Criminal and Civil Law cases within the UK. They would ensure that no information is allowed prior to the case that would directly, indirectly or by inference, give the other side an edge. So it may well be that we don't appear to be getting information that seems relevant to us shareholders but this may be so because it is to deny the other side getting any help whatsoever - unless it can be eventually used later to FRRs' advantage. Basically we don't know and won't know until the case allows. I agree with posters that it's not a good position to be in, just sat around not knowing one way or the other. But unfortunaetely that's the way it is and we can't do anything at all about it. So GLA
Perhaps it's the new way to rotate a damn big drill bit.
These supposedly upright companies seem to think they are immune to any rules or regulations. Many years back New World was caught out by forward selling of unauthorised shares and lots of Pi's got shafted as a result. Recently there was a report that NTOG was grumbling about Naked shorting as well. How long does it take FCA and others that something ain't quite how it should be.
