You are aware that any positive RR news generally has a negative effect on the sp. While I admire your optimism, I think you need to be realistic. If you have insider information, and know people at the top, surely you’d of got the date of the news release right.

Without trawling through the RNS, is this basically a rights issue? Pretty much written off my investment anyway, so won’t be buying anymore. Cheers

We were already offered 3.2% and £1500 as a pay deal which was 99% rejected by works staff. All they’ve done is upped it a bit and making out they’re doing us a good turn for cost of living. They’re failing to mention we’ve not had a pay rise in 3 years.

I was told this rumour weeks ago by someone who recently retired from a senior role. He didn’t say which sector, but he did say to plough a load more money into shares because BAE are looking for a buyout. I tend to take all rumours with a pinch of salt though, as I’ve been stung by hearsay before!

Convb, is there a Rolls Royce showroom in Aberdeen for jet engines then? Because they don’t make cars!!

Does anyone think that there may be some truth in this? I don’t mean a buy-out or merger, but could the transaction be that the government is going to further invest in SMR’s then announce it in their strategy bill on Monday?
I can’t find any record of RR having a electricity generation licence, which the nuclear financing bill requires before mentioning a company formally.
Maybe this is the delay in releasing the bill, who knows, was just a thought…

I know Rolls are financially in a pretty poor position. But, they are doing everything possible to come out fighting, and I love the nuclear stuff they have going on. I think this will lead to some short term traction in the share price, which hasn't been picked up ( apart from today ) in the recent green share lift compared to other focused companies. I'm raising my price to 126 from today and expect them to hit that within the next 4 weeks.

Unite are useless. All they try and do is make theirselves look like they’re doing something for the staff.

I think what we all have to remember is that the sp went down to 100p pre-dilution, so being around this price is no shock. I’ve got 30000 shares at around 92p so anytime it drops to these sort of levels is worth topping up. I’m LTH looking for a price around 300p in 4-5 years.

So, going back to what I said yesterday about getting excited... Best just to set alerts for when it goes above or below a set price.
It’ll save you going mad in the long run.
