Same here. Kept some powder dry for any dips with this share. But hopefully we wont go too low next week though?

Some US stocks are crazy overbought and they will be the only ones that crash, as money moves back into the companies that COVID hit bad. But I expect BP and other oil stocks will stay strong and increase dramatically.

Surely buying back shares will help keep BP stock price high and eventually increase dividends for share holders?
If the II's dont want the shares due to environmental concerns and the "Greta" effect, then f*** them.

Dont laugh too hard but I've got a nice position in ADV since last year. Added more today on positive news. But just reread the RNS and saw something I didnt quite like.

Few of my buys showing as sells though??

After being in with £30k worth from 2016 ...and then seeing that drop to £5k after the Namibia duster, I kept the faith and managed to average down at sub 2p. Accumulated approx. 1,000,000 shares and bailed out at 10p last year with a healthy profit and bought into BP. So I took the money! Nice £2.5 k divi with BP paid last week and all in my ISA Stocks and Shares.

However, I know CHAR has a lot further to go, so I bought back in here with £25k at 8p a few weeks ago. Will offload my BP to go all in with CHAR when the right RNS drops.

Ah OK. Still pretty new to this game so thanks for explanation.

Why is this negative? Shareholders will receive 1 share for every 10 held. Thats an extra 250,000 shares for me. Or am I getting this wrong?
