Apart from John Meyer's 2019 average FeV price which is now impossible, I firmly believe that he should be held in the highest esteem.

After a brief pause, the US ferrovanadium market took off again late last week as buyers re-entered the market either because they could hold off no longer or because they feared prices were likely to go even higher. FeV sales were booked at $46.50-48 per lb. One mill that had bought at just under $43.50 less than two weeks ago came into the market for another half truck and paid $4 more. A US sale of nitrided vanadium (VCN) was booked at $51 per lb. In China, VCN prices soared to over $120 per kg. One source reported a sale of VCN in China at $130. FeV prices in China, meanwhile, were reported at $116.
