The proactive video is certainly worth watching for all share holders, we are at the start not the end of the process, he stated the iPhone that everyone else wants to add their apps.
Well done to all the team and Andrew Newlands. It’s been a long time coming .
It was Hargreaves landsdown who has it for today, I sold some as happy to put elsewhere if it doesn’t pay off.
It says X dividend day today and I’m always wondering if best to sell today or wait for the dividend, it just seems on most occasions you end up better off selling then buying back, especially with the rise over the last couple of weeks. The same principle worked with Rio and GSK.
What’s other peoples thoughts?
It will be interesting to see next years growth, Paul once said turnover would double every 6 months, personally I can see a lot higher growth rate than this because or the extra models in each period, plus I think Qualcomm is the icing on the cake.
In my personal opinion if we don’t break even in 2023 is will be because of paying a lot of extra employees to implement all the new contracts, but I don’t think it’s a problem because the number of cars built each year, with DMS as mandatory will be growing at such a rate that once we are making a profit it’s going to be rising so quick the numbers for 2024 will shock some people, and the hard work has already been done.
Also I imagine fleet numbers are going to be a lot larger too and we are already making profits there.
It’s only a matter of time before those 26 brands start to have us inside them, perhaps the premium brands first and European brands to comply with EU rules for 2024 but momentum will accelerate quickly and already started from zero.
I don’t see why any manufacturer would install Snapdragon but not use our driver monitoring which is installed when manufactured.
Keep the faith those who get despondent.
That would make a good RNS
It looks like a clip taken out of a previous proactive video, but may be significant of what’s coming up this week.
We’re we not under the impression that we are in VW with Magna?
If so it looks like VW would choose Qualcomm but also use Magna mirrors ? Am I thinking correctly.
That 500 million could double this year by winning just 50% of the RFQ,s that we are working on. There’s a good change the percentage will be a lot higher than that plus Qualcomm.
That’s a big win and considering we are in all snapdragon 4 systems fitted, it looks like we are cleaning up in both the USA and Europe just Asia to work on. Of course we need some RNS’s to confirm the wins which is easier said than done.
Perhaps we are not getting any news because Qualcomm is winning everything, we only see the money in the accounts at the end of each year.
Your on wrong BB mate it’s seeing machines here.
Good article from safe stocks, one point I would like to make is we started from zero, the models are going from 9 on the road to 30 plus Qualcomm over the next year. Without this I expect the revenues to double because the original 9 models on the market will be getting up to speed after delays with covid and chip shortages.
So revenues could be a lot higher than they expect IMHO.
There was a chart on a proactive video about 2019 that showed predicted sales, revenues but probably changed a lot now.
Will Qualcomm give us more details or just have more revenues on the books each year? It would be nice to know numbers.

In November 2019, the EU Council of Ministers passed a general safety regulation mandating automakers to install advanced safety systems in all new cars on the EU market. These advanced safety systems include camera-based driver monitoring to detect inattention or drowsiness in the driver, and to issue a warning if driver distraction is identified. The new regulations will be gradually implemented over the course of four years, starting in 2022 with all new type-approved cars with a certain level of autonomous driving capability. By 2026, the law will include all newly produced cars on the EU market, no matter their level of automation. With the new regulation
I thought it changed after that for new models in 2024 and all cars in 2026.
I may be wrong.
All true but as it’s been said before it looks like they are trying to take as big as market share as possible, not bidding for unprofitable work. They have enough money in the bank hopefully to profitability so they have no reason to try to push the SP up except Paul’s free shares.
Only once they announce a large percentage of these contracts will they start to promote it more. I’ve noticed a lot more publicity for guardian recently so hopefully DMS/OMS soon follows in the same vein.
IMHO
They do publicity on twitter and Facebook, but only a certain group of people will probably see them.
Perhaps we could comment on each one as you say, with a list of who they are working with, or even Lewbo s chart.
I don’t know if it would do much good as realistically it’s a sit and wait game.
We have been stated to be in the 4 th gêneration snapdragon, I would assume this still applies to the Chinese market.
With snapdragon 3 it was a option for the manufacturers.
I think once we get numbers sold going forward then Qualcomm will be the game changer for us, I’ve always said this since the announcement that we were fitted as standard in snapdragon 4
If your fully invested in share you either sell or hold tight and sit it out. I had some cash and bought more of Agl and See. Both seem to have great potential the next few years, here we just need the FDA decision which could land anytime.
Hi,
I see we don’t have very many people for a discussion board.
I was just taking a look as belive Qualcomm is going to be a lot bigger in automotive now, they bought Veneer out as it’s in the infotainment stack for Adas , there’s a good chance they will buy Seeing Machines at some stage.
Mobilleye and Nivida seems to be getting left behind with the adoption of DMS and ADAS, as they pushed for fully autonomous which seems years away.
