I agree with that IJWT, was just amazed by the amounts. But also it is Heavy Crude and apparently only 1 Refinery in India can refine it. So for sure not the most desirable oil anyway. From my research Namibia oil at least is very much sort after type.

Just been reading about the gibbsmackingly vast Oil reserves in Venuezuela , 323 BILLION barrels , and more than Saudi (whose reserves amount I personally think could be vastly inflated) India is meeting with both USA and Venezuela in next few days re importing Oil. Maybe they will start looking at Africa and Guyana in due course.

Canilla, the problem with this Country is ONE THING ONLY for decades, we have had SH** Governments. Thet simply do not seem to have any clue whatsoever. All they want is stuff money in their own Pockets. So asking them to do anything falls of deaf ears, they are too busy filling their own corrupt pockets (and Golden Pensions) . It stinks but what can we do ,bar another "French Revolution" ?. I am serious, we have soooo much talent in this Country, and resources, but with such Numpties in charge we are going nowhere.

I would suggest as a parallel situation you look at say 5 year chart for ECO Atlantic. That will show you how long they waited and then when Navitas farmed in how long took to go up 9 times or so. (was 3 months I believe)

I guess when I say people are waiting to see what happens in Iran, not to be honest with you that I think that really is relevant but seems that is what is happening. Trump says "Oil prices will come down dramatically" but we know cannot believe anything he say. It is like driving in thick Fog, you cannot see ahead so you stop driving (Investing) until fog clears.

Thanks @justathought I have put all my research efforts and money into Namibia and surrounding Countries, pretty much on a "Monte Carlo Or Bust" basis, and I am hoping Monte Carlo. Without identifying him, a friend of mine was involved in a specific area of OIl & Gas sector but then things changed about 18 months or less ago and work was scarce. They now have a new job starting middle of this year, in an area of the Oil & Gas sector that confirms what "we" believe, that sourcing of OIl & Gas now ,due to Iran, will be more focused on Safer Countries like Africa , Latam etc, and also that Investment IS starting to happen . Can't say more than that but was good news for several reasons of course.

When they drill PEL 79 just across border back into Namibian waters, they hit 37 degree API Oil which is very fluid oil and that explain the large amounts shown on the seepage map. i.e. Block 79 hit that and likely Block 1 CBK will as well.

Few years ago I was researching the Namibia and South African Orange Basin and in particular was looking at Block 1 in Sth Africa side Border. But I do note Sintana have an interest in Block 79. The below Gif image is what drew me to invest in ECO (and later Sintana but not for that reason)
