The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Out of J.P tri companies Coro, Echo, Sound... Fiona has cheered us up with todays Rns.. Was down over a grand few days ago now 5 grand up. wish had sold more of my Sound to invest in Echo if only short term till L.E..
The big investors received warrants with their shares, to take up when this takes off. must be confident in their investment.
I opened a new Isa with Halifax share dealing, had to do it over the phone to transfer of 20k Sound to Isa from my existing account but quite painless and will save tax. Other than that I normally sell and buy back on end of tax year as bed and breakfast to use cap. tax allowance or set against previous losses. Roll on the J.P trio to rise.
Joe Creed and other Sound energy holders with allocated issue Saffron/Coro, are possibly waiting to see how the plans and S.P. pans out before deciding to add or sell their freebies, as a Sound Energy sop from Badile disappointment. My preference is IRG/ECHO over Coro to top up. Turner Popes recent fund raising at 4.38p plus warrants shows confidence from big investors the rest of us long term Sounders with burnt fingers at the time, remember Gerry Orbells Indonesia duster with Sound years ago. Hopefully B.O.D. Sara with James Parsons can make a success of new company.
At London Grace Hall Saffron/Coro event last Thursday night, J, Parsons mentioned recent market malaise, but off the cuff in respect of Sound Energy further funding was not required. even to pay for dinner guests and free wine. Possibly hopeful shorters stirring up discontent but wont wash with people that have done their research on Sound, Echo, Saffron/Coro. by long term investors and newbies. Next invester event in Chester, up t,north. if oil trader wants to ask question's after the presentation.
Dinalas.. Mr Hockey was J.Parsons [Sound} friend as well as a geologist very down to earth but dedicated to his company strategy. I have a few off shore oil/gas tenants and over the years know quite a few people in the business in Great Yarmouth. Shares are always a gamble, but meeting the guys/girls running the company helps to give investors confidence.
Met Andrew Hockey at last nights Coro/Saffron presentation dinner with James Parsons Sound energy. Am adding IOG to my investments now, Bacton gas terminal was mentioned not far from my business property. Good geologist and deputy chief executive hands on type of guy.
Last night was lots of bow ties and posh food. You Tube presentation video not showing as yet. Pity an information brochure not given out to guests to share with posters here and ADFN Am not seeing any Corporate action notices on my brokers website in respect of free shares to Sounders as yet.. At least seeing this in todays risers will attract other P.I,s to invest Malky Graham-Wood was their too, check his video's out for Coro too..
My Echo average is 13p. on 27k worth. so didn't get in from the low of IRG merge. So am also showing a loss. The SP will improve as the company develops. hang on at 17.5p it will recover big time to 1,s next few years. A few years ago Sound were 13p. then Tentrara took the S.P up to 90p then down again to now 47p partly due to Badile. I took my eye off the ball, now waiting for end game next 18 months. And Coro allocation.(Sound Italian assets) So do your research and take a half slice profit if the opportunity arises but my gut feeling is Fiona,s out to make money for us all.
Decent news today and sensible decision on financing. Met lady boss Fiona and spoke with Will Holland on the Sound river trip last autumn. Told them I hoped Echo will be Sound no.2. As to Coro will sell my allotment to reinvest here for faster returns. Turner Pope agent called me about signing up with them for trading and I.P.O,s, was o.k. with that but gave him my reasons for not holding Coro even though Turner Pope are their brokers....Badile, Tunisia, Indonesia, Italian bureaucracy, may be wrong but prefer Echo and Sound.
Any new investors looking to research Echoenergyplc should take a look at the C.V. of boss [aka Fiona McAulay] also Fiona Margaret Barkham. Loads of previous experience with Rockhopper, Falkland Oil and Gas also Desire Oil. Has some 30 million worth of warrant options circa 13.75p/16.25p to draw on by 2022. Plenty of personal financial incentive to make this company share price fly. And hopefully our investment in Echo.
Re. Stix40. Have met Will Holland and Fiona at last years presentations. Their strategy and subsequent deals will pay us back with a higher share price when the market catches on. Echo PLC website has all the information on their C.V. history as well as including J. Parsons to back up the team. The company has changed for the better since IRG merger. A.I.M is a gamble, but get to know the people running the company. Don't invest the kids pocket money unless competent, do your research.
