Turner Pope handled the Coro IPO last year.
Share Magazine, A.J.Bell investor presentation 13th Feb. Novatel Hotel, with Coro Energy bosses plus other companies.
Details are on Coroenergyplc website.
Not sure if I feel like a trip back to London but last march Coro launch with a steak dinner was o.k., shook hands with young boss Sara. and J.P. was on form and I was introduced to Andrew Hockey from independent oil and gas. 15p to 35p then back again.
I sold my allocation @ 4p then bought back @ 2p. but worth an ongoing punt.
A.I.M casino not for widows and orphans.
Seen this all this deramping before at Sound energy etc. posters with low level of posts owing to just recently joined LSE with loads negativity then disappearing to reappear under another name on another AIM share under attack by shorters.
Plenty of info. on these people at guerillainvestors.co.uk/sharebashers says it all.
I was introduced by James Parsons at a Coro energy launch last spring to geologist Andrew Hockey, had a chat about Bacton Terminal and Gt. Yarmouth oil/gas support services. and offered my rentals apartments for staff.
But as knee deep in Sound/Echo/Coro shares. didn't buy at 15p at the time so was gutted when doubled few months later to 32p.. was quite surprised to see the price drop.
So today used some spare cash to invest in what I believe has tremendous potential. geologist Fiona has also joined from Echo. so with a good B.O.D. and business plan any impending finance issues should be resolved.
Xmas true story, my lady friends daughter was asked by her boyfriend for a ring size. Said daughter told all her friends at work and Facebook friends she was getting engaged.
Come Xmas morning the boyfriend produced a silver eternity ring, too sad shocked and disappointed daughter.
At breakfast time smug lady friend said to daughter you got egg on your face Marie !.
Hope I don't suffer the same fate if L.E. not above 23p per share after telling lady friend of possible cruise on pay out.
P.S I like PNE last post prognosis. but not the single digits bit.
(tax) Loss Gain.
Risers and Fallers in the Mail listing A.I.M. Sound Energy as 74.70% rise this week on positive drilling result.
Should publicise the company for the next trading session. With newbie investors hoping for some action here.
So 23p. now, am still under my 43p average though. but better than 11p. thank heaven. Happy new Year.
No holidays for me on the Med", Stuck with running our apartments with off shore tenants on the Norfolk coast as my manager son 41yrs. has kidney stone imminent op. and really poorly, his local doctor said 18 weeks referral for national health op. plus wait for tests and scan wait 20weeks total.
Went private and tests and scan same week, then early Jan treatment to remove kidney stone. circa £2000.
Money does talk.
Dare not look at my Halifax share deal portfolio valuation, but cant get any worse.
Enjoy your cruise trip Kirk crudehope, a lovely gregarious guy I first met at the Shard and after pub drink in London.
Todays news on land slip causing big wave in Indonesia, how do the offshore rigs deal with this geological disruption between Indonesia, Sumatra and Malaysian islands..
Coro better off with onshore prospects, definitely not near the remains of Krakatoa volcano.
When will this share come good after being handed out from the Sound Badile duster. to Sound share holders @4p.
as Coro gift vouchers.
Sold half my 500k share holding in Sound over last few months bought Echo as gut feeling that Echo was safer. long term.
Done most of the uk presentations and info. on all three J.P. trilogy, even shook his hand a few times, plus Fiona and Coro Sarah..
However all oil and gas is a gamble, glad my main assets and income are my rental properties.
Reckon Echo 8p average will make up for my recent Sound losses, even Coro might flare up from my 2p average one day...
Tax/LOSSGAIN
Happy birthday from grotty Gt. Yarmouth. So you are Capricorn like my late sister, can be stubborn but good with money.
Roll on L.E. if more than 25p. my average 42p. paper loss thousand's down. Taurus bad investors.
Merry Christmas …..All.
Southwold down the coast Adnams does for me, no competition from Spanish Cevasas
Trellis you will soon miss blighty.
My daughter moved to Spain 20 years ago is always picking up traffic fines, Guardia Civil are B..... they can freeze your bank account and take the fine payment plus interest out.
One good thing about Tendrarra is the area is outside of the earthquake zone which stretches from Spain, Almeria to North Morocco, see Volcanodiscovery.com, earthquakes zones.
One of the Sound Facebook posters mentioned this as might effect the asset, so I checked it out, total fake information is miles away.
Although were my daughter lives is a hundred miles from the earthquake at Lorca, in 2011 Almeria. and caused some tiles to crack in her kitchen. cannot find any other info. on how earthquakes effect gas/oil fields.
The last few weeks have been vey disappointing to large holders of the share including myself.
However as you say half full and hopefully after the latest low sp the board will be galvanised and not complacent to underline the asset as above the present 15p.
Poor Trellis habitual marriages not good without pre conditions, whats mine is mine whats yours you can keep.
I Have a vacant room at my Norfolk holiday apartments especially for xmas divorce blokes. Whetherspoon is 5 min walk away. The Sth. Nth sea and beach is 15 minutes jog. Best not go their.
Thank goodness for the fsc and cc, have been trying to find yesterdays call on the Sound website, any links or info. appreciated.
Fiona is also part of the B.O.D. geologist at IOG Independent oil and gas, plus Coro. her step down may be simply for family reasons. So nothing dramatic.
At the last LSE London Brewers Hall presentation I got talking to her about non company stuff and the subject of getting nannies for her children cropped up. As my teen grand daughter was coming over from Spain looking for work and is Espanyol fluent from growing up over their.
I spoke to her about the Argentine children's charity notice on the Echo website, she replied their poverty situation needed support. very commendable and showed the company wanted to help. Also mentioned the SP drop and she was not aware of anything detrimental other than October stock market nerves, Brexit etc.
The new guy may not be very well known but give him a chance, its the income and exploration asset that counts and how he and the rest of the board takes the company forward.
l
All going well this morning on the s.p. and phone in.
I am unable to see my earlier comment post on last weeks share bashers with https//, maybe it touched a nerve on one deramper here.
Just search guerillainvestors co uk share bashers.
Commiserations, ouch 90p. not too good against current s.p. Am long term for years, pre Shard presentation 15p. .
However a.i.m. is a gamble but share bashers are a pain if a company is doing its best to make money for you.
Tomorrows another day to look forward to and help to underpin the low from going lower.
Have only had the posts here to glean the replies. Crude mentioned 23p. plus other valuation company parts.
Hope this is enough to shut up the trolls.
Looking forward to next weeks CC. Hopefully to clear the air over several issues. The expert geology posters should have their questions lined up then the financial company analysts investors to probe the issues behind this 12p. share price. CC people may be spoiling for a fight but will not help the situation, Sarah will step in and deflect vitriol.
Damage limitation should be on the agenda to underpin the present share price and our investment to restore confidence,
As mentioned in previous posts. J.P. didn't force us to invest our cash in the company with it's gas license to prospect an area the size of Belgium but the hype of golden tickets, let the drill bit do the talking, numerous presentation's and the promise of sell out to a major at £5 to £10 per share has perhaps encouraged us to invest more in an AIM than the normal risky oil and gas stocks.
At the last Geology Society, London event a few investors asked J.P. if he had any plans to leave, he said his contract was for a few years and finish the company sale. Another question for the CC.
My motto is always expect the unexpected. If in doubt butterflies in tummy, uneasiness. Derisk when possible.
At Norwich a handshake with J.P. asked if I had traded the shares, he looked a bit sheepish when I replied, yes I sold £50k worth from my £250k holding to buy more Echo. After your recent one mill. £ sale !. Oh right !, O.K. well ahem.... Sarah,s got some nice sandwiches and wine over there !.
