End of the Tax Year2 Mar 2024 22:06
Finally bought back in RR ave £2.00 August 23 after selling all my all in stock RR shares in early Nov 22 for 84p. A visit to the Nasdaq to back a couple of EV stocks that fell off a cliff, cost me dearly. Now with current gain of 87% in this tax year from RR, I'm looking at a substantial tax liability if I sell them. Thinking of cashing in 25% pay the tax, top up my ISA, use up my Higher Rate tax band and wait for £4.00 then £4.50, then £7.00 by end of 2025. Has anyone got any Tax saving advise them can give please ?
