Might be coincidence but the figure of USD100m figure has popped up a few times in relation to the Award -

Around November '19, the amount was USD80m but it now is referred to as either $100m / more than $100m / 320 Crore

Hi BryanW - I just use Google, inputting different sets of words and timeframes. Part of the reason you might not see some of the things found could be due to copyright and regional data protection laws. There are sites I can easily access here that are blocked or just don't show up when I am in the UK. I can see how much an ebook is on amazon.com - but that info is restricted if I try to check the UK price on amazon.co.uk. Same happens if I try to access iPlayer or ITV. I will see if Bing and the other site you mention throw up anything interesting.

PJohn I am forced to correct myself and agree that you did recently post some research. Thing is I am not sure you actually read it. It was about an initiative to make buildings more green by using energy efficient lightbulbs. Perhaps your shares are not in FRR but in Phillips Lighting?

Mole - in your message of 19th may where you laid out the company structure and discussed the FEGL set-up. We also decided FIG was FEGL. Can you recall if you reviewed a document from the Georgian registration site issued 15th November 2019 that showed FEGL was 50/50 split and status was now "not registered" Is this the same as what you reviewed - I am not sure I am reading it right:

I found a way to list of all the companies and affiliates under ZM on the site and this is that last entry. I am not sure if it matches what was found using the old way via access codes and clicking on the entities etc - this is all on one page and the headers are all in english, so not sure if its different or the same.

I forgot to add that when it was a TV station its audience share was around 1.3% of a highly fragmented market. That might be small (and their audience pool was already tiny) but still big enough to push the govt to try and squeeze it out.

StarRage - afternoon (my time anyway). At last, at least we know Zaza is in Tbilisi - I am not sure that was ever stated before (or maybe it was we just didn't catch the translation).

On the face of it this is a youtube channel with a small audience. I am pretty sure this channel is no longer broadcast on TV. However that's not always been the case. I am not too familiar with cut and pasting from google.books so I will paraphrase but there is book that talks about Georgian media and says this about the channel - it was the only independent TV broadcaster. Its licence was restricted to the capital only and the govt tried everything in its power to kill it off. I think the book is from around 2010- 2012 but not 100% sure.

There isn't too much info about this channel and I think it now exists as an online only pro-opposition platform. So while the audience might be small, it obviously gets some form of funding to promote its position. People have talked about FRR aligning with the opposition and this interview would fit with that. Small audience but presumably a highly targeted one.

jv123 - It seems you are not averse to a bit of self importance yourself. Various personal insults to me across multiple posts and appointing yourself guardian of the Board. I have never been anything other than civil to you. You are correct to say I enjoy searching and obviously I wont stop that. It’s the sharing part that is discretionary.

PJohn - I have never made the statements that even remotely meet your claim that “He talks about doing research and being informed about his investments” and the other ridiculous claims you make. Some have alluded to your various issues so I will assume that is where these false realities find their homes.

Nice to see Zaza in public again. I wish he would take a page out of the GOGC playbook and follow up such events with a press release that captures what was said and also widen the audience. The choice of channel is intriguing and aligns with some of the theories around FRR strategy.

I see by the number of "ticks" that many assume I am full of my own importance - I assure that is not the case, far from it. There aren't too many out there who spend the hours it takes to search multiple sites and sources. Even worse to be criticised by people who never search for anything. So, it does make me question the value to me in carrying on. Hopefully others can pick up the search and continue to search what is out there. Hope this comes good and soon and to everyones satisfaction.

Hi Gipps - Mole did think the move to FRR US was possible when he went through the PSA - "We know from the Outrider court action FRR transferred to FR US its share. That transfer would be under 27.3 as I would say FRR US is an affiliate.". But then we had discussions about the arbitration being split with the asset move treated as a separate issue. I guess we assumed OK as we didn't her anything to the contrary until GOGC made the "asset move is illegal" statement.

Sheff67 - if your level of contribution to the board is asking has anyone thought about tweeting Donald Trump (too lazy to do it yourself?) then I won't let my self get too bothered by your statement.

If you look at the audited results you will see that the statement is linked to a line item - "legal fees" in the accounts regarding Hogan Lovell. So you can accept that KPMG said whats all this then and GOGC said just take a read of this statement we prepared earlier, or you can expect the auditor to study the paper trail to verify. The statement hasn't just been inserted into the audit report without reason.

First time we dismissed the statement as it was on the GOGC website - dodgy

Can we really be so dismissive about KPMG? I find that a hard one but happy to be convinced otherwise.

StarRage - your perfectly reasonable assessment is bound to be undermined by someone who will soon be pointing out that the audit was carried out by KPMG in Georgia and so is obviously controlled by (insert name / organisation here)

There is nice Independence Day message on the US Embassy website where the ambassador assures Georgia that the US is its "steadfast friend". I think everyone is moving on from this.

We have been discussing why Zaza has been talking to the press and not to us lot. I decided to try to think of this communication in a different way.

The GOGC statement of 21st April announcing the Award ( the one that is used in the KPMG audit report) talks in terms of "vast majority of claims" and the "99%", though those bits are now missing from the KPMG report.

29th April - We get the first statement from FRR, though possibly not from Zaza and says things like "brutal and unsuccessful tactics of the Georgian government." It seems to be a press release from USA. The article doesn't mention the termination..

29th April - GOGC issue the statement announcing that the termination had already been issued on 27th April. It still talks about the "99%"

30th April - Zaza starts his media blitz with all the familiar "I'm right they are wrong" claims.

7th May - GOGC make a statement with (I believe) a change of tone, or perhaps a clarification of the issues and states the termination applies "in relation to the whole contract area" and that the asset move was illegal. No more talk of 99%.

Guess it depends on if you see ZA as calm, assured, in a 'of course he's right' sort of way or its a last roll of the dice from someone who overplayed his hand and / or underestimated the opponent. But after endless attempts to agree terms did Zaza talking = GOGC walking?
