Putin though doesn't call it an invasion or a war - he says it is just an operation.

Putin has said that he is carrying out his operation to rid Ukraine of the military and Nazi's in order to protect anyone who happens to be a Russian speaker.
I believe thee are a few million Russians in the USA with about a million Russian speakers.

Ukraine had abandoned the idea of Nato membership when the interim government of 2014 was in place, but with the Russian invasion of Crimea , the new government once again had that ambition . I doubt Putin would have seen Ukraine become a member of Nato in his life time.

What problem?
Putin is just out to build territory, pure and simple, to create a greater Russia with increased resources at his disposal. Incorporating Ukraine (Putin says there is no such country) into Greater Russia, would mean creating a border with NATO.

If the current Lloyds share investment plan continues at a fast place and finishes before the half year results,it would be good if the BOD could go against the past policy, and announce a top up to this years investment plan at that stage - especially if investments are still at below asset value.
