I last purchased at about 59p (March 2020) after which it went much lower, but had already reached an amount I was prepared to invest.
This has been a poor stock in my portfolio - still about 50% down - Not sure how much dividends (in the early years) has counteracted the current 50% paper capital loss.
May start to trade it a bit if it ever gets a lot closer to my cost price

I have already said, they have a progressive dividend policy.

They already have progressive dividend policy in place - in addition they can afford to make a return to shareholders by way of investment in their own shares - especially useful when conducted at well below nav.
Current forward dividend yield should be in excess of 5% based on the current price. Not as much at your average of 63p? unless your average has since dropped having bought more at lower prices?

NC has been around many years - she loves her conspiracy theories and moans about buybacks - mainly on the Lloyds board over the years.

Most investors would be happy to see such a good recovery in share price, but unfortunately NC is one of those people who can never see positives.

the percentage was determined at the time of the buyback completion. In penny terms, the greater the share price goes the greater worth in pence, but same percentage differential
