''You won’t see 71p until ''
The market will decide on valuation each day. Some decided to have for fun guesses at a share price on XD. I coded a message of my usual 'the market decides' by saying there would be zero effect. As some may know , I don't predict share prices for any given time, but what I have said is that Lloyds will be 70p at some point in the future. This based on continuing profitably and a continuation of share buybacks -. A 70p per share price today would still only value Lloyds at about £43.6 Billion, whereas it has been as high as £58 Billion in the past when Lloyds was not in as good a shape as the bank is now. So a 70p per share attainability need not be solely down to share count, but a never ending share count would make it inevitable whenever that may be.
