they don't need 3 bn in cash. at some point the banks will lend when the risk lowers. another lie from that fecker fraser today.
2.4 bn out of 7 bn voted for the deal, just over one third of shareholders. shame on the more than 50% 9 (4 billion) who didn't bother their arze to vote
would like to know what they were up to. they hold more cfd's than the entire no vote. less than 50% turnout. pathetic.
Surely not speedy. We were told today that JPM are the best of the best. They did a top job and are salt of the earth. Best in class. Straight as an arrow.
If the Board had any semblance of credibility or independence, surely that statement alone, delivered with a straight face by Scimshaw, was the straw that broke the camels back
lying shady bar stewards - BOD and JPM
A touch of irony from quick feet/IBAB
You’re talking about the millions the employees were paid/bribed to stay that Fraser mentioned today, Harry?
And then you have posters on here saying they’re pleased to be creating jobs for the area even if they’ve lost their shirt. Feck the jobs. Fill the hole in I say.
As for his line about it being his biggest success and biggest failure- what a load of balls. It’s an unmitigated disaster and failure of epic proportions. If you’re ten nil up at half time and lose 11-10, you’ve lost, the ten goals count for nothing.
He’s lost the plot or taking us all for mugs - again.
****
The problem I - and I suspect many others - still have after today is his unsatisfactory answer to the question of raising money. To say a retail bond I’d this size had never happened is not good enough. 13 million tones of polyhalite toros or a 23 mile tunnel under the North Yorkshire park hadn’t been done before either. You don’t know till you try and he never tried. Turd.
Edulis - (hence Polygon not going above 10%).

Wrong again - see most recent RNS. You don't know what you're talking about. Best you keep quiet and be taken for a fool than open your mouth and have it confirmed.
Fraser is wary of predators, but insists the company is not for sale. 'I used to do a lot of takeover defence,' says the former investment banker. 'Hopefully we don't have to call on that any time soon.'
-----
Where's your takeover defence Fraser? You been bull****ting us again.
He led us down the garden path and then ran off with AAL. And he wonders why we're ****ed off? And now it's our own fault for not taking financial advice (something he neglected to ever mention for the first 8 plus years he was selling the dream).
People need to remember why we are where we are and it's all down to one man. Don't let him forget that tomorrow. He's a coward and still hasn't taken responsibility for this mess, said sorry and done the decent thing and resigned. Instead he's trying top cash in seven million at our expense and continue business as usual with AAL with his million pound salary and bonus. What a lowlife.
'Managers live in the area. I live in the area. We're always available. All the community consultations for the planning process – I went to every single one of them and was there all day.'
'There's big support from people who want it to happen as long as we do it the right way. The farmers said to us from the start, 'The moment you bulls*** us, it'll turn'.'
------
Always available eh??? Where've you been the last few months?
The moment you bull**** us it'll turn. His words not mine. Well it looks like you've been bull****ting us. You've been warned it'll turn. Be ready.
That's not what you said. Yu said they are frozen out. They aren't.
"If it’s a No then Anglo are obviously frozen out and can’t increase their offer "
---
Incorrect.
A lot of scaremongering on here today. The share price now is irrelevant. Nothing has changed. A no vote may force QIA or other interloper to step in. It may not. That's the gamble. While the sp is changing, the circumstances have not changed.
Hold firm. Those that are voting in person, vote NO. Then let's see what happens next. Despite what the newcomers might tell you, administration is not a certainty. Not even the turd Fraser has said it's a certainty.
I believe this is some sort of court meeting with a judge overseeing the proceedings. I think it is important for some shareholders who are there with a letter of representation from their nominee but whose vote is bundled up in the one nominee account one vote situation to stand up and let the judge know how unfair this is and how difficult is was to extract a share to be able to vote as an individual.
The judge should be made aware that the one shareholder one vote is not fairly respected by the nominee system and therefore the vote may not be a fair representation of shareholder opinion. I'm still hopeful of a good turnout and a no vote on Tuesday, but the post earlier about the company stuffing the ballot box with employee votes paid for with bonuses (some might call it something else) paid out of our depleted cash, got me thinking that this system, already rigged by the nominee account issue, may be rigged further still.
Regardless of the vote numbers, I believe the judge has discretion to take into account the views of shareholders, so it's important to speak up. The odds are being stacked against us at every turn, from the joke of a Q&A puff piece in the Yorkshire Post, to the pressure phone call tactics, to the censorship on this board, to the half truths the company has been feeding us for months and the FACT they never tried to raise the money from shareholders - SPEAK UP ON TUESDAY. This is the only chance to be heard

Spread the word.
Let's hope for a big turn out on Tuesday and I hope everyone speaks up and tells it like it is.
Post of the year at 21.01.
Fraser seems to have forgotten who put him where he is and has spent the last number of months re-writing history. Where was the "seek financial advice" disclaimer before during and in the years after the planning permission fight when he was doing his rounds with his collection tin? What a turd.
QF - (is that code for the alter ego, Qwiss Frazer) - it's nice to know that the little guy with a few thousand shares will end up with the same as the big guy with his 124 million shares (no prizes for guessing who that is) if you're right - they'll both be worth absolutely nothing.
Except I don't believe the big guy when he tell me that administration will follow. I'm not the only one who doesn't believe lying Chris Fraser. A lot of PI's feel the same and, it appears, Odey doesn't believe him either. Lets get a no vote them on to plan B and plan c (can the man and send hom packing)
Ambience, great post. AAL have underestimated the strength of feeling amongst us shareholders. There's two very different types of Yorkshire welcome awaiting them, depending on how the next few weeks unfold.
Personally I'm hoping for a plan that excludes anyone with an Aussie passport from ever setting foot in Woodsmith ever again.
AAL can stick an increased offer where the sun don't shine. I'd welcome them as a partner, but a takeover - no thanks. Either way, Fraser needs to get on his bike. An apology and a letter of resignation from him - and schoolboy Staley - on Tuesday would be a start
Eggbasket - that wasn't the question 15LIVES asked
