Under the LFA, the Funder will fund the costs of the litigation against Samsung. The LFA removes the funding burden for the suit from Nanoco and its shareholders. In return, the Funder can expect to receive a multiple of their invested capital in the event of a settlement or judgement in favour of Nanoco. Patent infringement cases can take 2 years or more to get to trial and cost many millions of dollars to prosecute.



The Board is confident in the strength of Nanoco's IP portfolio and the suit against Samsung. Damages models indicate that the Group will retain the majority of any financial award or settlement and the Group's relative and absolute share of any award will increase with the size of the overall award.

How are we actually paid for this Oil in Chad are we guaranteed to receive it, likewise how are the receivables from the pipeline distributed , will we be shelling out for employees and not getting return (that can't go on for long). Are we Banking in Chad , if so i imagine that could be their next move ?

Should we now be proactive and take the Chad government to international court and cut off the Serpants Head ?

I hope AK has discussed with relevant authorities the likelyhood of corruption by Perenco and possibly the French state in commercial contracts especially in light of recent EU Corruption raids re Qatar, (watch the Fifa doc on Netflix, Plattini clearly arranged for Macron to meet the Qatari party and then in return a very large deal was announced).

Not sure Chad govt or Perenco want international legal exposure when it is clear the Chad begging bowl is out to both the US and China.
