I suppose my point is 6 months ago there were lots of things like this in the closet. We are now just down to this. Not great for today but in the long term has to be a good thing. I just feel anyone looking to make a quick buck may look else where. For people happy to hold longer lots of boxes are being ticked, boxes that may not help tomorrow but should help down the line.
Anyway I’m off to bed as until we hit £3 I still have a job to go to lol.
GDR is debt free and this is the only company that has options left to convert a loan to shares? If this is the case once they are done surly the company will be in a strong position to move forward.
Safy, Lol
How news not dropping this week has actually worked out to be a blessing. A big part of me didn’t want news this morning in the hope what has happened would actually happen.
If any of you could ask DB one question right now what would it be?
I think I would asking him on a scale of 1-10 how relaxed he was right now
If I was DB I would be in the phone to every single press outlet in the U.K. (unless I was already fully committed somewhere else)
Maybe someone needs to contact the press and inform them there is a UK based company that can produce 10k texts an hour and full ce marked yet out government continues to ignor them.
Dave I only realised not so long back I had to turn my phone sideways to get all the info lol
Peel 117 and 125
Is it just me or does level 2 look very interesting? I don’t fully understand it by the way lol.
Clark,
That link says updated 7th July? The last update someone sent I’m sure we were showing as in process.
What are you on about?
Does NYCT have anything else going on other than Covid? Obviously we have lots Of other things non Covid Related. I don’t really know what NYCT are up to other than Covid tests
Correct me if I’m wrong but won’t avct have to go through the same painful stage we are now coming to the end of? If so won’t they potentially be waiting many more months just to get where we are now?
The thing for me though is I have been working on the front line every day since this started. Back in April/may and even June I didn’t really know anyone who tested positive and neither did my staff And no one had to get a test to my knowledge. The last 2 weeks I have had about 10 staff who have needed to go and get a test because someone they have been with has tested positive.
I won’t mention names but this is a big bar in Belfast. They really need to be held to account for their actions. I could potentially loss 20% of my work force who are classed as key workers due to their negligence.
I’m a food retail manager. 8 of my staff were out in a pub Saturday night and it now turns out some of the bar staff have tested positive. They were asked for no details when they went in, the bar was apparently packed with no social distancing possible and they were drinking with out having a meal which I thought was against the rules. Basically a standard Saturday night. It’s also worth noting this bar is very big and would hold a lot of people.
I live in Northern Ireland and we are hearing and seeing more about Covid now than we did in April/may. While the death rate is very low the volume of testing/infections I’m hearing about is massive.
Business everywhere are braking the rules, probably because they need the money and this will make the situation get worse. On a positive note the death rate is not going up but also on a positive note the need for testing is also going up and will do for a very long time in my view.
While we are not aiming for U.K. sales I’m sure the same thing is and will happen in the country’s we are going after.
111 were useless trying to get any guidance or support on what my staff should do. In the end 119 advised they don’t need a test unless they show symptoms. The whole process of what is right and what is wrong is very confusing and while big businesses don’t follow the rules and the guidance on what to do is confusing we will never get a grip on this.
It’s also worth noting I had 1 member of staff who needed 3 tests due to them not working and he was off 8 days and another needed 2. This was all in the last 7 days. Other people who got the result first time were generally waiting 24-36 hours.
Last Sunday that it was the strongest Monday opening we have had in 4 weeks. Tomorrow is stronger again. While it’s not a massive amount it’s very positive we are going in to this week in a better position than last week even with no news. I think we must be on the home straight now and hopefully this week will delivery for all of us especially those who have been around a long time.
As a relative newbie it’s been exciting and painful these last 5 months. Even though I haven’t much of a clue what I’m talking about I genuinely believe and always have done that there is stuff going on behind the scenes. I’m currently as positive as I have even been and I’m extremely excited moving forward. GLA.
Open Monday in 4 weeks tomorrow. I haven’t felt this excited about A Monday morning in 9 weeks or so. I have a good felling about the next two weeks, just a hunch.
Clack,
Totally agree, we are all grown men/women. If you were In As early as me you will have seen what it did after the 20s and tbh even the best at this game had never Experianced what was going on back then with Covid. Yes they ramped but at the same time the dam thing never stopped going up and maybe with what was going on no one seen it stopping before it was to late. If only I knew what a placing was back then lol.
I don’t blame anyone for anything in fact I thank the so called rampers who made me jump in so early (and have helped me a bit along theway)I guess I was lucky thought as I hadn’t a clue what was going on. I suppose I was just curious on Safy’s view because he genuinely sounds to expericaced to just follow what other people were saying.
LP,
Possibly, and if I knew how to trade I would be a very rich man right now lol.
If you don’t mind me asking? I’m still new to the game, the rampers (as some call them) stopped me from selling when maybe I should have but tbh the same rampers convinced me to buy at 25p. I didn’t know what I was doing so my own fault I didn’t sell. I have very much quickly learnt to think for my self now, not sure if that’s a good thing lol. Can I ask, you seen externally switched on, to switched on to buy at a high price because people told you to. I think I recall you saying your average is £2? Are you in for much? (You don’t have to say how much) I’m just wondering did Covid catch you out with the unpredictability it has to these stocks or are you relatively new like me? By the way your posts and research are really helpful so thank you.
