Slowly but surely we are beginning to inch towards more a more realistic SP. Still well below where we ought to be, given the strength and potential of our investments, but getting there
So we have no debt and a reasonable pile of cash now. Perhaps we can expect some to be injected into an entirely new investment? Or a special dividend perhaps? One wonders.....
Just out of curiosity, anyone here buying Aphria (TSE:APH) shares directly?
Thanks for the reply. I have also emailed Jamie Gibson (who has responded to me before) to ask him for clarification and confirmation the market will be updated. I couldn't make Master Investor, but skimming through the posts it doesn't seem like there was any real update or news. Did nobody manage to nobble the RegPac guys and conduct a Paxman style interrogation?
Ok, I appreciate this is something of a 'crystal ball gazing' question, but can anyone elucidate on when the next actual cash payment from Recordati to RP is due following the European launches? Have we already met the trigger and the cash payment is already due (and we should therefore expect the confirmation imminently) or according to the terms is there some other technicality/milestone to be met first? Thanks.
I'm still debating what to make of Lorne Abony selling half his holding. Ok, I get he might just have wanted the cash to invest in something else, or bank some profits, but ultimately if you hold something worth 18p a share....and as the CEO you are pretty damn confident its going to be worth much MUCH more in the not too distant future, why the hell would you sell such a large amount now? I do accept people have different reasons for selling, but just saying it doesn't exactly inspire confidence. I'm a holder by the way (have been for ages) so not "deramping" ...just putting the point out there. It might be one reason why the wider market is a little restrained in buying in too heavily despite the massive potential of our holdings.
We could really do with some concrete news from these guys. It's disappointing they never seem to announce anything, or even bother to update their website blog or social media. Even when they do post on e.g. Twitter its never about them, but just retreating something about the e-commerce industry. We know from the half year report: "Yooya set a new sales record in October 2017, and anticipates that it will likewise set a new quarterly sales record in Q4. Management remains bullish on mid-term revenue prospects for the company and its ability to execute on its ambitious growth and development targets, the early stage of the company and highly competitive nature of its chosen market notwithstanding". Sounds wishy-washy to me. "quarterly sales record" doesn't mean much until we can in some way discern their business model and how much money they are actually making. It could be absolutely naff all for all we know.
Those sales and revenue projections look laughably high until we see some real world evidence of demand and sales. Any "analyst" can sit around crushing hypothetical numbers ....the product is out there now... so let's see.
"How much is Satoshipay guesstimated to be worth again......was it around $190 MILLION !?!" lol, that's like me guessing my manhood is 10" long. Doesn't mean it is. This is all about adoption now, not riding Stellar's coat tails and avoiding the elephant in the room.
Said it before.... the SP is a reflection of the fact SatoshiPay has yet to announce any notable adoption of its technology. Its not the technology that's the issue.... I've no doubt its sound... its the simple fact that, three months post-launch, bloody nobody uses it! (yet) We have to accept the initial partners they announced in December are little more than a joke. A percussionist? Nor am I very interested in downloading 'Meditations on Steel' by Natali.... its when major content providers adopt then you'll know we're going places. Meinhard keeps making hints on Twitter, so let's see the announcements. Hopefully it will be major 'pay per read' content providers rather than a Bulgarian candlestick carver.
Pom -- "Depends on your definition of having sex- if your are happy with 30 seconds seems you found the right partner." Coming away from the playground stuff, the simple fact is most men who have it will not consider it a sufficient enough issue to seek medical attention. I'm not saying NOBODY will, I'm just saying not vast numbers is my guess. Many men who have PE either (a) don't care (b) do care, but not that much, and not enough to seek medical prescription for it, or (c) aren't having sex anyway, so don't care. Yet when you read Plethora Solutions original research into the size of the PE target market they made is seem like almost every man affected would be beating down their Doctor's door for a topical medical treatment. My honest belief is the overall sales market for this product is a lot smaller than you might be hoping. The market is not simply "all men who have PE across Europe" - the headline figure that seems to be bandied about - but rather "a % of men with PE across Europe that would actually be willing to seek a prescription medication for it"..... which I suspect is a tiny fraction of the former. Anyway, time will tell. Let's wait and see this awesome marketing campaign from Recordati to boost sales of Fortacin, and all these other global licencees you RG keeping mentioning and have done for months ("advanced talks") that never seem to actually materialise....
Is there any concerted effort being put into marketing this product? Not convinced PE is considered by most men that have it to be a serious enough issue to seek medical treatment for. Didn't the Daily Mail article in December cite the sole UK supplier stating they are selling 10 cans a week? lolololol Utterly ridiculous to assume it would ever be like Viagra, which is about even being able to have sex at all - not just performance. I think the only thing that can positively impact sale now is a strong marketing effort and praying it somehow takes hold. Yet..... *tumbleweed*......
Our investment is in SatoshiPay...not Stellar. Either the SatoshiPay platforms gets adopted by paid content providers - and I'd suggest pretty quickly - or it get beaten out by the competition and dies a death. What maths would you like me to do?
The technology is great but the adoption is a worry. Where are these serious content providers then? I cant see SatoshiPay generating much revenue is the only place you can actually use the platform is to buy CDs of some bloke playing the bongo drums in Berlin. Just a little worried why we have heard so little on the adoption front in January.
Cityfan - I'm not always looking for a negative. I felt it was a fair and reasonable question to ask. I hold shares in FFWD and have done for a long time. Better to ask questions than just partake in a general circle jerk in a pathetic attempt to ramp the SP, which is what 90% of posters appear to spend their time doing.
Seeing as Lorne Abony sits on the Board of both, how come FFWD was making sizeable buy backs of its own shares (of which NUU is a significant constituent of the investment portfolio) just days before the acquisition of NUU is announced? Doesn't that seem just a little sketchy?
'I'm long and strong here, and hold with a long term view but surprised at the 'muted' market response to yesterdays news. It's a game changer for FFWD and represents a great investment strategy coming to fruition'. I don't disagree other than have NUU sold out/been taken over too early in their development? Perhaps some in the market feel they've been acquired for bargain compared to what NUU's MCAP probably would have been 2 years from now. I share that concern to some extent.
I really want to understand more about Yooya's business model and how much revenue/profit they actually generate. We don't really know if its making big money or not - could be great; could be small fry. We know it's platform facilitates "2.9bn monthly views" etc etc.... but what are they PAID by advertisers and publishers I wonder. Secondly, why haven't they been active on Twitter since July last year? Fairly regular posting and then it all just stops.
I'm beginning to wonder about the BLU SP.... Stellar is $.56 now and 9th on CMC MCAP (at time of writing) ....meaning the value of SatoshiPay's returns is higher than ever... and growing... and yet the SP actually goes down today? Seriously weird.
