Yes it does. SC is still R&D and has around 40 employees. Clearly, offload R&D is the way forward.

I assume it will depend on how many proven platforms and aggregate of commercial agreements. The first commercial deal provides a hint on the direction, clearly SC wants to offload some of the R&D. It make sense as the size of its workforce is a limit of what can be done internally. In parallel we have number of ongoing trails. Outcome and success rate will determine what big pharma will be willing to put on the table. ATVB

Thanks GF, I agree that takeover is the most sensible outcome and it may happen sooner rather than in years to come. Value as you mentioned is complex and will depend on the number of proven platforms. For now there is not much to do but wait and accumulate when possible.

Hardly 1p on the back of this amazing news today. Why we are being punished? Maybe it’s being considered impossible achievement and viewed as fantasy. The last 2RNS pushed the market value by £33m what do we think SP will be when CPI result will confirm what we all hope for….probably another 1/4p.

Tepid and uninspiring market response to unbelievable update from SC. It looks that SP will still be under 30p after a confirmed £5B takeover.

Rat seriously, SP should have crossed 30p. I always maintained that money talks and the rest walks. Even this ween on the back of first commercial deal we failed to get the the appreciation in the SP. IMO this is to do with the development which is still outstanding. That is what some folks suggested a visit to spec save. I prefer Costco, but 5-6p is beyond repair not sure where you get £40m valuation from…

Yes…but the upfront SC got is tiny percentage in comparison to the deals potential…IMO. That is why it is still classified as future prospects…IMO. Not being negative just reading the update as is.
