He has not said he will seize assets...hes said he will us proportionate sanctions

The divi is the real prize, although capital appreciation would be great but I intend to hold these for years...if we stay at or get back to the £1 dividend at some point and i reinvest the first few I'll be returning twice my investment per year. I'm a self employed builder so will be effectively able to retire and only book work in when there are divi cuts announced and I need to top up....that's if I don't loose the lot...but if it gets to that point we'll all probably have bigger worries

People forget putin isn't thick...hes making a point he wants ukraine away from nato and I don't blame him...he won't start a war with the west as he can't win...hes playing brinkmanship and so are we. He won't destroy his country...if he goes to war with the whole west his only option would be his big red button and there's lots of countries on our side with those as well

They won't nationalise high profile assets...they'd not see a penny of investment for the next 20 years if they did

I'm also all for debt repayment or buy backs...they'll all work towards the long term health of company and help us ride out and future bumps in the road
