RE: Facts: 3 major holders have all increased their holdings - and takeover talks still appear to be open6 Jun 2023 13:49
Did anyone note that Mike Ashley's 7.4% holding would have been diluted by 20% so to get to 8.8% he's done a fair bit of buying as I presume his holding would have dropped to about 6% of the enlarged shares in issue
RE: 400 here we come… Mike Ashley ups again!!!6 Jun 2023 11:19
I dont think Mike Ashley intends an offer, he's just positioning himself for both scenarios. If they turn it around and the share price ends up back at £50 one day he makes a lot of money. If they fail he is well positioned
In what way do I contradict myself? I said there isn't a bid currently as the directors would have been unable to buy shares as theyd be in a closed period. The media are speculating that a bid could come in the near future
If you are in possession of insider info that is price sensitive you can't trade...they couldn't buy in a £4 placing if they knew there was a £10 offer...
There isn't a bid, just speculation of the possibility in the news...directors took part in the fundraise less than a week ago, they couldn't have done this if a bid was on the table
the offer is out dated, we have 20% more shares and the results were ****e....if the offer was 1.2b it won't be now and even if it is it would be less than £12 a share due to additional shares
