Agreed Croz, their only flaw in my opinion has been providing timelines they are not fully in control of, and as such has frustrated a few PI's. If you've been in this game enough you know any deadline given should be seen as a best possible case and contingency for even a 100% over run isn't unrealistic. Given we are dealing with O&G, various partners and commercial arrangements, this is all to be expected. The reality is they are making huge progress for the complexity of a deal this size for such a small entity. Bottom line - they have delivered everything they said they would and are closer to close more so than ever.

I myself struggle to put faith in Sefton after being burned badly here previously, however I took a position early last week in anticipation of the drill finally taking place, of which I am now confident will happen; despite having my remaining reservations surrounding the management. I think there will be many investors of a similar mindset and expect a rise to mid teens by spud. Just my thoughts; not a die hard AAOG believer but do have skin in the game and believe value can be realised here at last.

Quick fag packet calc using the vessels average speed would indicate both journeys will take take c. 1-1/2 days once steaming. Slippage of a day or 2 can probably be expected given the sector & nature of such things. All we can do is track in the meantime but we're almost there.

The company hasn't even been trading for 11 months...I think a lot of people would consider this a walk in the park investment so far with next to no pain compared to what else is out there on the AIM. They BoD have been quite communicative with various PIs. No complaints from my end personally, however I have naturally low expectations of the Oil industry when it comes to timelines. Probably because i rarely make them myself :P

You will also see in the CPR report a reference to commercial terms being reached with the influence of the OGA if necessary to progress the project. Processing oil over a 3rd party facility is common place in the N.Sea despite being commercially complex I am confident terms are in place.

OGA will not let Repsol CoP Bleo Holme prematurely. Especially given i3's development is dependant on it still being on station. It is reasonably hard to get CoP consent; you must materially prove further development options are not viable.

I'm confident commercial terms will of been reached regarding processing fees etc. Repsol will sell their crude & I3 will take a cut based on their volume & composition contribution to the assay.

Buyer's will camp out waiting for a big sell order to be filled i think....i know this because I am one; wanting another stab at it in the 90s although havent offloaded a penny from my original holding into the 100p+ rise.

Looks like he know's what he's doing. Already been part of an acquisition and has a wealth of experience. Could be the turning point to put that cash to good use.

Yeah super tight spread, i think the same was happening yday. The 5k batches are surely the CLN's however there is a serious buyer in town mopping them up....

Good posts this morning from all and I do understand the natural / justified caution from WTD but as others have said this is different from the majority of AIM oilers and as such I have confidence in my research and that of others whom I have been speaking to. What is to note, is that IF i3 are in London this week/next it is very likely they are there to sign funding....most creditors / lenders are based there (eg. JCAM ) and many oil co. (eg RockRose) are in london too. Therefore rumours of them being there should be thought of logically why they are there based on previous statements, and we should not jump to our emotional response of assuming an equity raise because it is the worst fear for most when investing in the AIM.

Agreed PennyPusher. I have trusted in my research since the high 20s / low 30s and its led me to a huge gain from my first tranche avg of 32p. Not sold a penny on the way up and have been buying at every opportunity. No reason to believe things will change now considering we are at the most de-risked stage the project has ever been. Patience as ever will be rewarded massively here for holders.

Possibly, theres been a lot of buying today already, and on that dip especially. People taking advantage where ever they can i guess.
