I know there is some sort of issue with the DHSC, we can speculate this, the next paragraph will need a lot more than speculation!!
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9463451/Testing-surge-dozens-contract-South-African-virus-variant-south-London.html?ito=native_share_article-masthead
So we have work to do and my guess soon is that we will force the hand with DHSC what ever the issue is. They need us at the heart of the economy and powerhouse. If this continues in this way NCYT and it’s expertise in variant detection will be very much welcomed.
Not long ago Chile had vaccinated over 20% of the population and started easing restrictions and the virus then spread again!!
As I write this there were 3568 recorded cases recorded in the U.K. today. Last Monday there were 2762!!
It’s the variants that are the major concern as more people receive vaccinations the virus will adapt. We are in a race to vaccinate against the variants but the best detection is from who? Yes Novacyt!!!
Wilson, just tell her your working on getting it up!!:)
Jojo, read my posting history if u like, you will find my target price so not bothered about trading this. I wouldn’t know how to short and to be honest I’d rather not,
When you go for a job, they are split into two categories, jobs that give people pleasure or jobs that give people grief. Happy I spent my working life in the former category. So no I’m not here to big up for self gain, just positive after 20 years of picking up from trial and error, done every scenario but here I am. The choice is yours stay or go.
Jojo, no it’s not a desperate ramp. The nano particle technology kills the virus. 99.99 percent or there abouts. The mask , your hand gel will kill the virus.
I’m not a ramper , just positive mostly:)
To add I think we can concur the mask is variant proof. I’m not a professor in virology but I do fear the variants maybe an ugly problem as vaccines become more widespread, the virus will try and find a new path to break defences. Pro-Larva masks may then be the solution until vaccines catch up with variant control. Watch this space!!!
SYNOOGOLD, I concur yes, the bio city machine although there is no news of full production there, it is at present a very good tool to get samples out to big industry and organisations, also to create some revenue to offset production costs.
The company know the buck bucks will be a decent contract with Volz and maybe other manufacturers too. We are in a good window of opportunity that the company know they need to excel in.
News will come when firm deals ref production and sales materialise.
It’s been a quiet month or more but I firmly believe a tremendous amount of hard work is going on behind the scenes. We have an excellent patented product that could soon become a mass produced product in tens of millions. That would be the aim of the BOD knowing they have the right product for pandemically driven market to fulfill.
Feeling uneasy without multibaggerjim back in !
Multibagger bring back the swagger then sing us a song like rubber lips Jagger. Just like a rolling stone.
“Let it loose”.
Locked and loaded sounds perfect to me:)
Oriens, I totally agree, after Porkys last email highlighting the companies deficiencies on getting out RNS updates, it will be addressed. Read the last part of GMs reply to Porky, they understand now!!
Well I hope they do!
What is the situation at present ref tapping the USA market? Staff , premises, products etc on U.S soil? How deep are we into negotiations? Possible contracts? This is where we need to be!!!
Remember that GM is not reporting any contracts to market 1M value or less!! The company might just be getting lots of these little beauties as nurse our pains. The undertones from GM appear to me that DHSC were let’s say unenthusiastic for good reason, he wants USA contracts!! Biden was the key to market there eh Porky? :)
Crackpot, clever chap eh, how do you get all your facts across on 2 posts? We all need more evidence as your facts so far don’t seem to weigh up!
Porky9, always loved your enthusiasm and pleased you shared your reply from GM to the board here.
The problem with NCYTs RNSs and GMs replies, they have a habit of raising more questions than definitive answers lol.
Come on we all know DHSC are skint as Greensill who were lending the capital went bust!! The treasury is bursting with IOU chits and need a bigger store!!!
Joking aside, the DHSC contract may still happen with some work, no doubt GM will be busy this weekend. He is in fact a shareholder also and sharing some pain with us, thanks to people like Porky9 onto him ref the SP, it does sow the seed ref the delivery of future RNS to market. GM has done a tremendous job, he and his team will sort out a positive path going forward. We are not at the end of this pandemic yet, anyone thinking it will be over by year end get real. Transient countries such as us need to learn a lesson or two from NZ and AUS on border containment, we are still no where near stopping incoming variants!! The longer the governments ****** border control, the longer we remain in this mess so I’m sitting tight in Graham’s fold.
Tropical, I agree there is a lot of controversy ref airport testing costs and naturally business wants value for money. However when it comes to a gold standard product( let’s say a Rolex) you want it to deliver in reliability on the price you pay! NCYT are fortunate to have a product that delivers ref PCR testing. It MAY just be that the DHSC department may have agreed a contract and pricing but received backlash due to costing. Possibly part of the dispute. Does this warrant repurchasing cheaper products at the risk of another wave to hit us hard and the economy? I really hope this doesn’t happen!
The story will unfold in time whatever the outcome but today we were oversold.
It was always a possibility DHSC could cause a storm. Government contracts never appear to be a smooth process unless it’s a mates rates deal!!
As we are not members of the jockey club etc then smooth passage is a risk!!
The good points have already been mentioned ref portfolio of gold standard products, private contracts, NHS contracts, cash in the bank etc.
It’s a stock market panic and the stock is over sold at present. I’m hoping like many there will be more clarity ref today’s RNS and a strategy moving forward.
If there is a legal obligation in favour of NCYT, it will either be resolved without heavy legal arbitration or will enter a drawn out process which nobody wants. I hope resolve is found early, not just for shareholders but the benefit of the U.K. as I fear variants are a major concern. The country may need Novacyt more than ever if this rings true.
Novacyt will bounce back with or without DHSC.
The latest RNS ref MHRA approval is a very positive step regards the future sales of Pro-Larva masks.
The previous RNS gave some detail of expanding progress with Volz with an initial order of 1 million masks but with the the intention of expanding. This was divulged to the market on 4th March.
We have a distributor in place for Amazon to sell to 40 plus countries.
I’d say on those points the dots are lining up nicely in a northerly direction.
The machine in bio city I believe was set up to to test the markets by giving out free samples to industry but also sell a quantity to maintain some revenue.
All the posts wanting more machines ordered in my view was not the plan and not necessary when production contract awards to companies such as Volz would be the quickest way to market once sales volumes are realised. If things go to plan then big numbers are not out of sight due to the state of the pandemic as I write this. I am sure the company are working hard behind the scenes to achieve these goals and succeed in our window of opportunity which scientists foresee at least two more years!!
Any company with a new product has to logistically take the right steps to put things in place ref licensing deals, material sourcing, sales marketing and other requirements before growth really takes effect.
It does appear things are starting to move positively in the direction we all aspire the company to go.
All IMO of course
It will move. The MHRA approval is a step forward but the big price movements north will be when we know now more about contracts. Either production or/and sales. This is the next piece of news we are expecting!!
This is an old post but still have a gut feeling on this one!!
JP, we are all waiting, has anyone considered the fact there will be a lot of DHSC contract awards soon. There’s a number of Covid related companies down at the moment pending contract announcements ref DHSC, these I believe will be announced beginning to mid April in line with the next opening phase on opening roadmap.
It’s just my hunch that something maybe in the offering for RMS although like anything on aim there are few certainties!! This just might be part of delay on RNS.
Like I’ve said before there’s a lot of work going on behind the scenes, it is known from previous posts that our Dr Cave does have contact with Matt hand****. It may have a tie in to pending news but comments ref this welcome.
It’s a bit of a lift in what’s been a miserable month. See how this plays out tomorrow!!
Jezebel, I’d second that, the motion lotion is in FUM lol. I’m just gonna keep rubbing the genie lamp and wait for the markets to see the light on Dr Caves excellent invention:)
Kainos, prepare the chariots, done enough practice runs already now lol
