Does anyone know how the AGM went today? I was expecting a RNS and some positive news such as a new Chairperson.

Sadly, I sold a big chunk last week at a loss of about £2k and my remaining holding shows a similar loss. I hope good news allows this to clim and I can get out near break even. Due to the Iran war there are so many other bargains in the market right now and I wish I wasn’t tied up here.

I have been here before with an AIM stock and lost a lot of money and should have known better. In that example, the technology was exceptional and the leadership was 3 ex Tesla executives but sadly we all learned to late that the large cash burn was their massive salaries and the company went bust. I got really caught up in the hype. I thought it was going to be massive. Likewise, I think Medpal has a fabulous idea. Sadly, the cash required and the dilution kills us smaller investors in my non expert opinion.

Perhaps very naive but I often wonder why the owners don’t front some of their own money when dilution occurs to raise small amount like £500k. They are betting on themselves and they know far, far more than we do.

Basically, I think I jumped in too early. I should have known better.

I bought 63,311 shares at £1.0025 and I’m hoping to see £1.20’s by Christmas.

I’ve been in and out of JD Sports for two years now. Definitely a trend with JD and something holding it back. Turnover doubled in past 5 years but share price halved. Bought Hibberts in US and retailer in France.

I was hoping for some guidance regarding the dividend. Do we have until the end of today to purchase shares in order to increase our dividend payment or did this expire yesterday. I thought I had all day today but I've noticed the drop in price this morning is about the same as the div payout and now I'm worried that I've missed my opportunity. Novice invester here guys. Still learning as I go.

Unfortunately, I agree. This share has some sort of crazy hold on me. I sold RR at £4.52 to buy more JD. I sold Fresnillo at £14.52 two or three months ago to buy more JD and Fresnillo now over £20. Everyone saying the stock will come good but its the money that is not been made elsewhere because we are stuck in this. Definitely, JD will come good at some point but how long will we need to wait. I feel as if my money is dead. I rue the day I started to research JD. It seemed so attractive to me and, to be fair, I still cannot believe why this share is where it is at.

Even the most optimistic among us now must be concerned about this stock. I have perhaps been lucky that I have never before been invested in a stock that has plummeted so sharply and consistently as this one.

About a month ago, I had mentioned that I was taking a hit by selling and moving to other stocks with a view to coming back. I did that and bought back in at £0.74 per share on Friday. The gains that I made on Fresnillo, Taylor Wimpey and Spirax wiped out in less than a full day of trading.

Adding insult to injury I am now stuck in BAE and Diageo with Diageo dropping nearly every day since I bought.

Life shouldn't be this tough.

I have bought in at JD Sports all the way down from £1.19 to as low as £0.63. I was absolutely convinced in this company and its potential. Now, I am deeply concerned. There is no way that this share should be priced at where it is but the truth is there is something wrong here in the eyes of investors. With no exciting news around the corner I can see this dropping all the way down to low 60's - why wouldn't it.

Half my investments are stuck in JD and at one point I thought this would soar over £2 but now I think £1.25 is a pipe dream.

My average is £0.89 per share and I think that I've got a long, long wait until I make any type of decent return on this.

The past 11 months of trading has been brutal. At least for me. When will this turn?

Unless I’m wrong it seems to show that 2.7ish million shares were purchased and 2.7ish million of these were bought by JD. The day before ex-div date.

What on earth is happening here???

With respect, you say that the market has to see results but JD Sports for two years in a row has posted profits of just under £1billion. The company is performing and performing well. It has invested hugely in two acquisitions as well as continuing to expand with new store openings across the UK and beyond. The problem for me is that sentiment is shot to pieces - I don't agree with it but people far smarter than me seem to distrust this share and its ability to return profit. This has also became a shorters paradise.

I had all my eggs in one basket with this and since yesterday I now hold 13 different positions. Some of these are for short term profit and some are for companies underachieving with the idea that they'll come good in the medium to long term.

Ultimately, I want to make some money now and I think I can do this.

For sure, if I make some short term gains I will definitely come back strong to JD but I think JD will be around the same levels if not lower for the next 6 weeks at least.

I love JD. I think this is going to be a great success in years to come but I am not willing to let my investment dwindle over the next 6 - 9 months.

Also, I meant to mention that all the advice suggests don’t sell at a loss but its the losing on potential investment elsewhere while sitting on something idle. What are we supposed to do? Just sit by day to day and watch our value drop day after day. I bought all the way down. I have shares at £1.19 all the way down to £0.67 and I’m still not in profit. Utterly, utterly brutal past 10 months since Labour, Trump and Putin. Also, I’ve made mistake after mistake. Perhaps today’s actions will be another.

I sold half my shares today at a loss. I couldn’t take any more. I have researched JD Sports more than any other company that I have invested in and the performance of this share is brutal. I’ve been in it long enough to know what’s coming over the next few months - this is going to drift.

I have sold investments in Rolls, Royce, BAE, Lloyds, Taylor Wimpey, Glencore and Admiral always to buy more in JD because I’m always so certain that it’s going to soar. JD is like a bad former girlfriend I keep taking back. All other investments have increased in value while JD limps downwards every week.

So, without doubt, because of me losing the plot today you can all rest easy in the knowledge that because I sold today the share price will rocket upwards in no time at all. 😂

I really hope to buy back in a few months from now after I recoup money elsewhere. I cannot fathom why this share performs so poorly. It is awful.

I simply cannot understand why this share price is stalling. Where would it be without the buy-backs? Crazy.

I’m well over invested in this and sadly have all my eggs in one basket.

Is there a general acceptance that JD's financial results are going to be significantly worse than first thought?

With the share price falling every week I would have imagined they would have released their figures early. Decent figures would have surely stopped the consistent drop in value.

Like everyone else, I continue to average down but yesterday was my last throw this side of April and I am extremely concerned now. Every week this falls.

Incidentally, I was doing magnificently up until September last year and since then everything I have is in trouble including a long shot with potential that delisted and has since went dark i.e. just waiting for administration. A tough 6 months indeed.

I would imagine the share price is going up because there's not the same availability anymore. The folks that wanted to sell have sold and the rest over on the Telegram chat are wanting to hold onto their holding post delist.

I have been adding to my tally and I'm happy to hold post delist and beyond. Once I got my head around the reasons for delist I started to understand. I still believe that DG Innovate will have a big future and I want to be part of that.

I think the share price will probably climb to 0.0004 in the days before 31st Jan.

Did anyone see what happened with Blue Star Capital PLC today. Yikes. A few geezers retiring today 😄

Well, that was brutal today.

It makes me very sad to see so many people selling shares at such a low value. I am not judging and everyone will do what's right for them but it saddens me to think that some people are having to sell at maybe 20% of what these shares cost them.

Seeing sales go through at £0.00018 per share is heart breaking stuff.

I had hoped for some rebound on the share price but this is looking less and less likely.

It truly is devastating. I laugh at myself now for all the times that I thought I had truly stumbled across something very, very special.

You live and you learn. Just need to take this one on the chin.

Even as positive as I try very hard to be, watching the share price today and the vast quantity of shares sold, really hits home the fact that this looks done - a slow death happening before our very eyes.

Can you try to re-explain this to me please? I am still not understanding the issue with my current shareholding after delist.

I hold just under 45 million shares in a company with no income. Say there is a stock split and my share holding reduces to 4.5 millions shares as does everyone else multiply down by 10 but instead of being invested in a company with no turnover I now hold 4.5 million shares in a company with substantial revenue and profit - surely this is a good thing. Surely, if it were to relist then it would relist with a share price far higher than today.

I doesn't matter if you are a director or not in terms of shareholding. All shares are equal.

A director/employee earns a salary but if it comes to paying out dividends we are all entitled to the same calculation multiplied by the shares you hold.

Obviously, we are all speculating but even after reading the message from the CFO I am more convinced than ever that investors wait in the wings to put money in after delist. Admittedly, I don't know why they would need a delist to invest and why they don't just invest now but there is clearly reasons/regulations that prevent this. DGI knew the share price would tank on the news of delist. They wouldn't delist without knowing the implications of their actions. I believe without doubt that an investor is about to input serious money and has made it clear without doubt that this investments would not happen if they were still part of LSE.
