Is the stuff written about tree shakes actually true?
Are you saying that it if someone sells their shares they may struggle to buy them back?
I fear that might be nonsense which deters people from banking profits.
I’d genuinely like to know the truth
It's more than Interesting. It’s the obvious way to proceed. It’s a disgrace how shareholders have been treated, with an alternative option being dismissed out of hand without releasing any details. The BoD are considering only themselves and have thrown shareholders to the lions. They should do the right thing and find a solution which offers shareholders a chance to stay invested and recoup some of the huge losses incurred by the failure of the BoD to stick to their promises. All shareholders from Jupiter to PIs should vote NO to the Anglo deal. The BoD must offer the consortium deal to us.

A vote for this deal will be rewarding only the BoD. They emerge with their jobs and a huge sum of money to distribute between them. Meanwhile the private investors get totally shafted (no pun intended). I shall be voting NO and will take my chances on an improved offer. I do not believe AA will walk away. They will be forced to offer a better deal to shareholders. And if I’m wrong, then at least the BoD walk away with nothing too. A vote ‘NOT is the ONLY option. Do not do what the board of directors want. They are serving only themselves.
It seems clear that management have made massive errors of judgement. Theresa May’s government were willing to offer support but CF et al chose a different path. A path which has failed. And now, under a new PM, the government have pulled their offer of support.
That choice to take a different funding path, refusing government support when it was offered, was catastrophic.
Has anyone considered a mass lobbying of government through letters to the PM, to the Secretary of State for business and via
https://petition.parliament.uk/
After 10 000 signatures the government has to respond. After 100 000 it is considered for a debate in parliament.
This government is supposed to be supporting the ‘Northern powerhouse’. This project will bring thousands of jobs plus numerous other benefits to the North. Let’s campaign for them to do the right thing.
Yes, OCD almost always based on fear of harm to oneself or others. As I say, I live my life in fear. No offence taken though. It’s so difficult to understand the devastating impact of MH conditions unless you have them, so I do appreciate your message. Hopefully share price will improve towards January update....despite this Brexit business / shambles
Leoman69 initially seemed to have some understanding of OCD - but then it went horribly wrong!
Yes, it can be a completely debilitating condition. I should know as I have severe OCD. But it is not affected by Brexit so I don’t have to stay away from that. And neither it is about perfectionism - having to type things many times.
It’s actually a fear based disorder. I live every second of my life terrified of dying, my brain stuck in threat and hypervigilance mode, which means I see danger literally everywhere. Mental peace eludes me, even for a second. I am constantly seeing and having to avoid danger. Constantly consumed with fear that something or someone may cause me harm. It comes from my childhood trauma. I grew up with terror. My brain has never recovered.
However, boohoo have apologised. And as a shareholder I do hope that was enough for any OCD sufferer who was offended.
