Additionally I can arrange to move the shares to a different provider. No idea how that process works for de-listed company holdings. Will have to do some digging
Update:
Spoke with HSBC just now and they admitted the letter I received is incorrect and a new letter will be in the post shortly. Their understanding is that my ISA holdings will automatically be moved to my investment account (due to HMRC rules) at some point from 11th Jan onwards. After the 15th Feb they will endeavour to re-register and issue a share certificate.
If the new letter is any different when it lands I'll post again
Spks: No, thats all the letter states
barnard: Yep, I'll give them a call in the morning and post on here anything that they suggest
I have just received a letter from HSBC saying I need to transfer my 'shares' to another provider, otherwise they will attempt to sell them on 11th Jan. Surely neither can happen at the moment until we are advised by the company / RNS.
Any thoughts or anyone received similar from their providers?
Still feeling slightly numb whenever the thought of this experience jumps in to my thoughts, what could have been, why didn't I take profits on the way up......hindsight hey
I'm still slightly perplexed why the Twitterati who claimed to be / were heavily invested in our beloved DEV, have so far been almost silent in their views, thoughts and general grumblings. Are we to assume they were given the opportunity to release some of their cash while under suspension? Or merely embarrassed and avoiding abuse?
Other than CA's reply about behind the scenes, cornerstone investors.........I notice Everton Rob's account is still down.
Well, well, well. That came from no where. Lets see if we can have a steady rise on the run upto results
Olives, the RNS says they will confirm a trading platform prior to delisting
Cool, thanks. I'll take a look
It should remain. Another stock I'm in moved over to Nasdaq and the LSE chat is still open
I'm not familiar with Telegram, is it Telegram Messenger or Groups for Telegram I need, or both?
How traders and investors are impacted when stocks are delisted:
When a company delists, investors still own their shares. However, they’ll no longer be able to sell them on the exchange. Instead, they’ll have to do so over the ounter (OTC).
The value of shares doesn’t automatically rise or fall with a delisting, but when an involuntary listing takes place, it’s often a sign that a company is approaching bankruptcy. In this case, there’s a chance investors might lose their investment.
When a company delists voluntarily to trade privately, they sometimes offer shareholders additional benefits such as warrants, bonds, and preferred shares.
Traders can potentially profit from voluntary and involuntary delistings. If a company delists voluntarily, its share price can increase depending on the reasons for the privatisation. In this case, a trader can open a position to ‘buy’ (go long) if they think the share price will increase.
Those unfortunate to be in ASLR also........currently taken a 66% hit this morning.
ASLR own (owned?) 8.5% of DEV
@ JB 'What's happened to all the pumpers on here and twitter, Alan Duff et all.'
I don't think many on here can be knocked, it has generally been a great board sharing some decent info.
The twitter brigade are only there for one reason so always treat with a rather large pinch
More likely 5p tops
Q: If they relist at some point in the future at a time when we have financial stability in the world (could be a while), would our holdings be somehow transferrable or equivalent value etc etc? Clutching at straws here I know
Almost 400k shares here.......what could have been. I feel numb just now, gutted, and feel for you all!
Interesting that they consulted certain shareholders, I imagine the fat cats aren't loosing out too much
I have never been in this situation so welcome any thoughts from those with knowledge or experience of similar scenarios.
The RNS states:
The Board is aware that the proposed Cancellation would make it more difficult for shareholders to buy and sell shares should they wish to do so and that Shareholders may still wish to acquire further or dispose of DevClever Shares.
Accordingly, the Board intends to use reasonable endeavours to create and maintain a matched bargain secondary market trading facility to assist shareholders to trade in DevClever Shares following Cancellation. A further announcement providing further details of this facility will be released before cancellation.
Contact details for the matched bargain trading facility provider once arranged will be made available to shareholders on the Group's website.
One thing for sure they won't be worth much for those wishing to 'trade'
F##k!! Of all the outcomes, I did not see that coming.
Thats a monumental amount of 'potential' cash down the pan for me........gutted!
Pretty sure Omega sold it's manufacturing facility earlier this year
Can't see us hearing anything until news of prospectus and relist date sometime in the new year......hopefully.
Such a disappointing year
