Soo, I'm no expert, but when a company places (effectively magics up) new shares, it depreciates the value of existing shares. In this case the company has magic'd up 20% more new shares. This will devalue existing shares by 20%
Soo expect SP to drop by 20%
But, as I said I'm no expert.
I have a good pile of Open Orphan at BEP of about 12.5p ...I wonder does todays pull back offer an opportunity to stock up on a few more? or maybe wait and see if they drop back again to what seems to be their natural support level of about 14.5p
The talk in US is starting to move to Covid-19 Human Challenge studies.... and specifically the ethical concerns of infecting healthy people with (albeit a sanitized version) of the Covid-19 virus.
and seriously, who in their right mind would volunteer for a Covid-19 Human challenge study? Possible life long Lung Damage, possible brain damage.
Is Human Challenge studies, a red herring for Open Orphan earnings?
My 'bag of fag box' calculation is that OVB would need to still have about 600,000 Poly shares (@£20) in order to exceed its own Market Cap of about £11m.
Long time holder here....Sold out there two weeks ago on the 15p spike.
Quick question, does anyone know how many Shares in Poly Metals does OVB still have ?
(My understanding is they have been selling Poly shares continiously, to fund the drug project).... are we still in a position where the value of Poly shares is more than OVB Markt Cap?
Whats that they say about quality over quantity ???
Might these guys have the wherewithal to bring Barryroe on stream? or is it just another false dawn.
Also at 4.25p might this be worth a punt regardless??
Yeah, sold out at 15p a while back, have bought back in again over the last couple weeks when SP dropped into the 11's (like I said I would)
Am I right in my calculations that at
665,609,830 ordinary shares at a value if 14p per share OO is still worth less than £100 million, which is the putative value of one of the assets (Imutex)...thereby leaving the rump of OO valued at zero.
"I am still in on this, mind you all those telling us 15p was the target are looking smug."
Well.... you were told. I think half of the pumpers on this forum, who are waffling on about 50p targets and double/treble bagging etc. were selling like mad as soon as the SP went over 15p.
Had a buy setup for the last week @12.5p. Just lucky, I cancelled it this morning.. This sucker is heading back to 11p....
if the SP flops to 12.5p will be tempted to pick up a few.
Is the SP going sub 13p today ? Hope the 'experts' who ****ged me off for selling at 15p the other day ....are feeling pretty smart now? :-)
possibly when Corona Virus leaves the front pages ....
I got out at 15p a liitle while back as I felt that was a natural price 'barrier' ... and soo it has proven to be.
I will only get back in if there's a major dip to somewhere like 10-11p.
Its great that the majority of posters here are soo enthusiastic about OO's prospects. But the reality is the SP has gone from 5p to 15p in 3 months. Has it simply run out of road? OO mgmt dropping new shares at 11p onto the market might be a sign. Remember CF bought shares at 6.1p ....a trade sale of the company today at 15p would make him a very rich man.
Are we going back to 11p tomorrow?
My avg was 5.8p. sold out complete holding today at 15p.
Will buy back in again under 10p.
Lot of wind bags on this chat thread pumping up the Stock ....while behind the scenes cashing out.
Also I would divide by a factor of 10 (or maybe 100) the value of the trades these huxsters are claiming to be involved in ...
Personally have about 2k worth or ORPH, bought in at average 5.8p, in no rush to sell, I'm hoping Cathal can get 15p a share in a takeover deal.
Good news. ...and SP has responded +8.5 %
