The Stobart Group said it was looking at “a number of potential structures”, including “taking a non-controlling interest in a vehicle to acquire 100 per cent of Flybe, likely to be in cash”.

However, it added that it was “not possible to say at this stage whether a firm proposal will be made”.

Founded in the 1970s by Eddie Stobart, the group has expanded from haulage into energy, rail and aviation.

Shares in Flybe rose 36 per cent to 47p. The budget airline said no approach had been made and told shareholders to take no action “at this stage”.

Whoosh!!!

Want this as they can fly from Heathrow. How much 20p? 30p?

In the period the Company received approaches from several individuals and companies proposing a range of interesting product development initiatives, some of these are being progressed and could lead to interesting developments for the Company. What's it worth in the nearer future ??

Angus Forrest has a wealth of knowledge and connections in the TEC world.

I don’t post much on LSE anymore,but I had a conversation with someone who sits at the very top in IMM. I can clarify what was said to me resembled what you have said in your post at 16 :10 They have just attended Bio Europe and had quite a few talks with cliants, so I was told, And the ace up there sleeve as you put it I can say I know exactly what you are talking about.
I just wanted to say to all, I can clarify news is very close, you can all get this information by being more proactive and contacting your top brass!! They are very forthcoming and happy to help, and I was surprised how much information I was able to extract!!
Well best of luck all I have added today and will add all the way up to high 50p when I can.
