The Nuclear Safety Council gives green light to part of the Retortillo uranium mine project

The Nuclear Safety Council (CSN) has favorably assessed two intermediate steps for the authorization of the open-cast uranium mine in Retortillo (Salamanca). Specifically, it would be the Program on Environmental Radiological Surveillance and the Program for Surveillance and Monitoring of Groundwater.
