Shell Namibia
Shell Plc. (NYSE:RDS.A) just stunned us with a discovery announcement at its offshore Graff-1 well in Namibia.
The Graff-1 well results showed at least two reservoirs containing what Reuters sources have called “a significant amount of oil and gas”, which we estimate could be worth up to $29 billion at $88 oil.

Eco is a favourite in the Bucket List, for its exposure to Guyana obviously as above and would have been drilled if it hadn’t been for the operator putting off its commitments for so long. More recently its acreage in Namibia has been focused on after a big discovery by Shell nearby, these two discoveries can but only vicariously help Eco and I’m sure that it will be reflected in the share price, already up by 92% since Christmas Eve.

Mkcap has dropped from over 50m to just 3m just from a 50 percent interest in a JV oil well that didn't deliver, I've bought in on today's reassuring news and I'm positive I'll multibag here in the coming weeks.
With enough cash and reducing spend by 50 percent this year is a good commitment to deliver back shareholder value.
Roll on Monday, it's going up.

Advance Energy jumps on cost reductions and refocused strategy
Fri, 28th Jan 2022 10:50
(Alliance News) - Advance Energy PLC shares leapt on Friday following the announcement of board changes, cost reductions and a refocused strategy moving forward.
Shares in Advance Energy were up 36% at 0.32 pence on Friday morning in London.
The Isle of Man, UK-based oil and gas company said it has implemented measures to reduce the costs by over 50% through a number of initiatives, including reducing salaries and director fees by over 60%.
To support these initiatives, Chief Executive Leslie Peterkin has decided to resign with immediate effect and he will be replaced on an interim basis by Non-Executive Director Larry Bottomley.
Advance Energy said it has refined its strategy to create a self-funding oil and gas production company.
By concentrating on non-operated cash-generative assets and capitalising on its current deal pipeline, Advance Energy said it hopes to leverage the time and cost expended in assessing potential new ventures over the last year.

Peter Hill, Global Petroleum's CEO, commented:
" Given the feedback which we have had from the energy industry with regard to the upcoming drilling by Total and Shell, we feel that it would be advantageous for the Company to be positioned in the market with the assistance of an experienced advisor over the upcoming period, and we are pleased to have PVE Consultants on board for that purpose."

Namibian government to hold press conference on discovery
It remains unclear if Shell will develop a field
LONDON, Jan 25 (Reuters) – Shell (RDSa.L) has made a significant oil and gas discovery at an closely-watched offshore well in Namibia which could spark a wave of investment in the southern African country, three industry sources told Reuters.
Namibia is not a fossil fuel producer, although northern neighbour Angola is a major oil and gas producer and a member of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries.
It unclear if the discoveries are big enough for Shell to go ahead with the development of the country’s first deep water field, the sources said.
