My thoughts… YKIR sold out, invested in another stock and unfortunately that nose dived. YKIR maybe now doesn’t have enough funds to reinvest in GCM to claw back his original investment , hence bashing the share to try get a lower entry level. AIMO

Interesting link Searcher, there are a minority of recent posts explaining that there will be months and months of waiting. On the contrary it seems, Yunis and the interim government are conducting a deep dive and evaluation of the corruption over the past years. It is my belief, that when this is concluded, they may see sense and look at the facts surrounding opm at Phulbari.

Also to add digit, the world is a very uncertain place at the minute. What with Ukraine and the Middle East. Domestic coal will ensure a power supply to the country, as imports etc will increase with the volatility. No peace talks in either region gaining traction. Fact.

IMO, it will continue to do so. With the protests all but over, the new interim gov will want to start reshaping the country.

Energy will be a high priority to get the clothing power houses back on track and start bringing in coin.

Haha, yep we need more sells. So that the patient can get a load of cheap shares and the sellers can sleep at night knowing their money is safely back in their accounts, only to buy higher when news lands.

Chill Positive 2021. Nothing has changed, we await news from Bangladesh with ref to OPM at Phulbari.

Granted, there has been unrest recently in Bangladesh, but that should fade as solutions are being figured out. For those private investors who can remember how fast this moves with positive news will be definitely sat on their hands.

There has been too much manipulation over the last 3 mths, so expect a rerate soon. Massive games are being played here and from experience, AIM stocks are always volatile before a huge rise.

Crack a beer and watch this story unfold.

What baffles me though, is there are a few moaners on this bb that have maybe lost confidence? Personally If I had lost confidence in a company I invested in, I would sell and move on.

Individuals flapping if it goes sub 5p….tut

Ask yourself why you invested in this company in the first place.

Then ask yourself if anything has changed.

Then try figure out why we have had so many buys over the last 3mths with the SP staying in the same range.

And finally understand that AIM stocks do not necessarily make you wealthy overnight.

Trust your own research and wait for the prize.

If they do indeed sell the licence to Bangladesh or PC, the big question is how much? How much have GCM spent over the years keeping it alive? The feasibility study etc etc.

I would predict anywhere between £100- £150 million? Then what is going to be left for shareholders after the directors have had their fill?

We shall see.

People are second guessing after a vague newspaper article from India.

Let’s wait for factual news from BoD.

The war in Ukraine could be the catalyst to opt for domestic energy. I personally can’t see and hope it doesn’t get any worse, but the world is an unpredictable place at this time.

I don’t think sending a few knackered F16’s to Ukraine will alter anything in the short term.
