Yeah just checked the trades and a tiny 5k sell moved it from 18p to 17.9p at 11.20am and a £265 trade moved it down to 17.6p. Trades so small they're effectively 0% of the shares in circulation.

It's a completely false fall. Let them try to fish. We're not going anywhere.

Reckon this may just be a fishing expedition to see who falls for it. If no one sells, they'll have no choice but to raise the sp up again

However, either way, if Eskom have been waiting for this SONA tonight before making their own big announcements thereafter, then it may truly have massive significance.

If they had a vendetta, they could’ve unfairly screwed us over today with the news we had this morning but they didn’t. They’ve actually been fair today all things considered, so credit where it’s due.

Many people seem to think the MMs are conspiring against BMN but I’m really not convinced. The people saying that at 10-11p are the same people who said that at 23-24p recently and the same people saying it now. Ignoring the fact that BMN has majorly outperformed most the stock market in recent months.

We will 100% re-rate to fair value sooner or later, and the MMs will not be able to stop us, nor do I think they wish to.

All seems too conservative to me but it's very positive nonetheless : )

Should also mention that Vanadium is the 1st metal spoken about after discussing the importance of energy storage systems.

There is no doubt in my mind that Bushveld will be involved with the Eskom BESS Contracts, and major hints like this buoy me with even more confidence.

70 mins - Sir Mick Davis explains how Green / Renewable Energy is going to grow super fast over the next few years, and revolutionise the whole world over. However increased renewable energy dependence means more instability / less reliability. This is currently being remedied either by having fossil fuels burn in the background, which defeats the whole purpose, or by creating huge energy storage systems. BESS systems are vital to "unlocking the potential of Renewable Energy." All touched on by Andre previously (the CEO of Eskom).

71 mins - Sir Mick David immediately talks about how "Vanadium allows for significant energy storage which is non-degradable" and how it is an "important metal for South Africa because there are large deposits of vanadium here."

74 mins - When the presenter jokes we should buy Tesla to take advantage of the Green Energy revolution, he explains it's debatable whether EVs actually make the world greener, and he doesn't think they currently do when they're typically being charged up on energy from fossil fuels. He instead says large-scale BESS systems are going to be massive, and he would also expect the resource companies who provide these metals to see "huge growth"

The Bushie BOD have always err'd on the side of caution rather than take any risk of doing anything untoward, so it wouldn't surprise if they've sold shares at a time they considered "safe" before big news was announced.

Especially when the tax man is involved here.
